Edit
- The background music when the video starts is "Through the Fire and Flames" by Dragonforce.
- Yami Bakura's opening is from Vader and Obi-Wan Kenobi's lightsaber duel in Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope.
- "Stay on target" is also from A New Hope.
- Melvin says Yu-Gi-Oh: The Abridged Series "will be cancelled faster than you can say 'created by Joss Whedon'". Joss Whedon created the series Firefly (which was cancelled after only one season) and Dollhouse (two seasons), as well as a handful of series which were cancelled mid-development.
- Zorc and Cody cameo on Hannah Montana.
- The shows seen playing behind Noah are Viva Pinata, Dinosaur King, Sonic X, Huntik, and Chaotic. All of these shows have been on 4Kids TV.
- The point at which Yami Bakura says "He's not my girlfriend!" and Marik's reply of "You tell him, honey!" is from the cartoon Chowder.
- TeamFourStar's parody of the Ghostbusters theme song, "Ghost Nappa" is heard in the background while Yugi, Tea, Joey and Tristan are having a party in Bakura's room.
- The song that Marik and Bakura sing at the end of the episode is Ben E. King's "Stand by Me".
- At the end of the credits Marik changes the lyrics from "Stand by Me" to Sean Kingston's "Beautiful Girls". This is most likely a reference to the fact that "Beautiful Girls" sampled several sound clips from "Stand by Me".
