Summary
Yuma keeps fighting hard against Thunder Spark's "Number 91: Thunder Spark Dragon". However, he gets to Speed Loader's water field, and accidentally diverts from the narrow route, which puts him in great danger. Kotori and Cathy both jump into the river to save Yuma, but, while sinking in the water, Yuma hears his father's voice encouraging him, and, using his "kattobingu", and with Astral's help, he gets back to the Duel, bringing out Captain Corn's "Number".
After Thunder Spark is defeated, Yuma thanks Astral, and they try to shake hands, but Astral's hand goes directly through Yuma's, and they just laugh. Yuma then goes to where Spark is, when Spark asks Yuma to shake hands, as he "did" with Astral. Yuma accepts it, but gets electrocuted with Spark's touch. Spark explains he could never shake hands with anyone, because he wasn't a human, and would electrify anyone he touched. However, happy for being able to touch a person, Spark now says his last words to Yuma, and quietly disappears in peace, leaving his "Number" to Yuma. Yuma and Astral take the "Number", as they lament Spark's "death".
Featured Duel: Yuma Tsukumo vs. Thunder Spark
Duel continues from the previous Rank.
Turn 10: Yuma
Yuma passes Thunder Spark, and the Speed Duel rules allow him to Normal Summon twice. He Summons 2 Level 4 monsters[Notes 1] and overlays them to Xyz Summon "Number 50: Blackship of Corn" (2100/1500). Yuma then activates its effect, detaching an Overlay Unit to destroy "Number 91: Thunder Spark Dragon", but Spark activates his face-down card "Forgive It", paying 1000 Life Points (Thunder Spark 4000 → 3000) to negate the effect of "Blackship of Corn". Yuma Sets a card.
Turn 11: Thunder Spark
Spark activates the second effect of "Number 91: Thunder Spark Dragon", detaching all 5 Overlay Units to destroy all cards Yuma controls, but Yuma activates two Trap Cards: "A Ray of Hope" and "Resentments from the Graveyard". Due to the effect of "A Ray of Hope", Yuma Tributes "Number 39: Utopia" to negate the destruction effect of "Thunder Spark Dragon" and due to "Resentments from the Graveyard", as Spark has 8 or more monsters in his Graveyard, the ATK of "Thunder Spark Dragon" is reduced to 0 (2400 → 0).
Turn 12: Yuma
Yuma activates "Monster Reborn", Special Summoning "Number 39: Utopia" (2500/2000) from his Graveyard. He attacks and destroys "Thunder Spark Dragon" with "Blackship of Corn" (Thunder Spark 3000 → 900), while "Utopia" attacks directly (Thunder Spark 500 → 0).
