Yuma cannot win without Summoning "Utopia", but according to the prophecy, Yuma will lose in this Duel for sure if he Summons it. Under this desperate circumstance, in order to grasp the future within his own hands, Yuma delivers a bold strategy!
Featured Duel: Yuma Tsukumo vs. Cameron Clix
Duel continues from the previous episode.
Turn 4: Cameron
As Cameron's hand contains four cards after he draws during his Draw Phase, the ATK of "Cameraclops" increases by 400 (2600 → 3000) via the effect of the equipped "Telescopic Lens". Cameron activates "Night Beam", letting him destroy a Spell or Trap Card his opponent controls without the opponent being able to activate it in response. He destroys Yuma's Set "Bye Bye Damage". He then Normal Summons "Scandal Snapper" (700/2000). The ATK of "Cameraclops" decreases by 800 (3000 → 2200) as he now has two cards in his hand. "Cameraclops" attacks and destroys "Achacha Archer" (Yuma 2900 → 1900), while "Scandal Snapper" attacks directly (Yuma 1900 → 1200). The effect of "Scandal Snapper" activates as it inflicted battle damage, increasing its Level by 2, to 6. Cameron activates "Xyz Frame", which will prevent non-Xyz Monsters from attacking during the next turn. The ATK of "Cameraclops" decreases by 400 (2200 → 1800) as Cameron has one card in his hand.
Turn 5: Yuma
Yuma Normal Summons "Gogogo Giant" (2000/0), whose effect activates, Special Summoning "Gogogo Golem" (1800/1500) from his Graveyard in Defense Position and switching "Gogogo Giant" to Defense Position.
Turn 6: Cameron
Cameron Normal Summons "Paparazzi Pest" (1000/0). He activates its effect, Tributing it to increase the Level of "Cameraclops" by 2, to 6. Cameron overlays his two Level 6 monsters to Xyz Summon "Number 25: Force Focus" (2800/2400) in Attack Position. "Force Focus" attacks "Gogogo Golem", but the effect of "Gogogo Golem" activates, which would prevent its destruction in battle once per turn as it is in Defense Position. Cameron activates the effect of "Force Focus", detaching an Overlay Unit to negate the effect of "Gogogo Golem" until the end of this turn. The attack continues and "Gogogo Golem" is destroyed.
Turn 7: Yuma
Yuma Normal Summons "Overlay Owl" (800/1600). He activates its effect, paying 600 Life Points to detach an Overlay Unit from "Force Focus" (Yuma 1200 → 600). Yuma overlays his two Level 4 monsters to Xyz Summon "Number 39: Utopia" (2500/2000) in Attack Position. He then performs a Chaos Xyz Evolution, overlaying "Utopia" with its own Overlay Units to Xyz Summon "Number C39: Utopia Ray" (2500/2000) in Attack Position. Yuma activates the effect of "Utopia Ray" three times, detaching all three Overlay Units to increase the ATK of "Utopia Ray" by 500 for each (2500 → 4000) and decrease the ATK of "Force Focus" by 1000 for each (2800 → 0). "Utopia Ray" attacks and destroys "Force Focus" (Cameron 3500 → 0).
