Yu-Gi-Oh! GX - Episode 136

The duel between Jaden and Brron is continued. After seeing Chazz die after he attacked, Jaden is forced to play defensively. In a sadistic swoop, Brron forces Jaden to attack with a combination of Darkness Half and Dark Tournament, allowing him to sacrifice Hassleberry, Alexis, and Atticus. Near victory, Brron attempts to use the Super Fusion card that he sacrificed the others in order to wield, but finds out that he needed to sacrifice one other: Syrus, who possesses the "Orb of Doubt". As his attempt failed, Brron summons Reign-Beaux, Overlord of Dark World and continues to mock Jaden's efforts. Finally, pushed to the edge by Brron's mockery and his sacrificing of his friends along with his perpetually downward descent, Jaden defeats Brron in a fit of rage, successfully having his revenge. After seeing Jaden in that state, Syrus reaches his boiling point where he lashes out at Jaden by pointing out where his selfishness has gotten him. As Syrus and later, Jim and Axel, abandon him, Jaden is left to mope by himself. During this time of depression, a figure calling itself Haou the Supreme King appears to Jaden and tempts him to become evil with the incomplete Super Polymerization card.

Jaden's Turn

Jaden summon's Elemental Hero Avian(1000/1000) in defense position. However, Brron activates his face-down Darkness Half and Dark Tournament. Darkness Half halves Zure's ATK/DEF (900/750) to summon two Half Tokens (1000/1000) on Jaden's field. Then, Dark Tournament forces all monsters to battle, with no monsters destroyed as a result of battle. Avian and the two Half Tokens attack Zure, (Brron 3500), and with Wicked Canon's effect Brron sends Wicked Rune - Anguish, Wicked Rune - Hatred, Wicked Rune - Sadness to the Graveyard. Because of this, Atticus, Tyranno and Alexis disappear.

Brron's Turn

As Syrus is not able to be sacrificed, Brron removes Wicked Canon, Wicked Rune - Anger, Wicked Rune - Anguish, Wicked Rune - Hatred, Wicked Rune - Sadness from play to summon Reign-Beaux, Overlord of Dark World (2500/1800) (as it is a Fusion Material Monster for Colorless, Chaos King of Dark World). Reign-Beaux attacks Avian (Jaden 2300), and Brron switches Zure to defense position and sets a card.

Jaden's Turn

Jaden Tributes the two Half Tokens to summon Elemental Hero Neos (2500/2000). He then activates Common Soul, summoning Neo-Spacian Air Hummingbird (800/600). He can now Contact Fuse Neos and Hummingbird to summon Elemental Hero Air Neos (2500/2000). Activates Air Neos' effect activates; as Jaden's LP are lower than Brron's, Air Neos gains the difference in points (3700/2000). Air Neos attacks Reign-Beaux (Brron 2300), and then Jaden activates Contact Out to return Neos (2500/2000) and Hummingbird (800/600) to the field. He attacks Zure with Neos, and Brron directly with Hummingbird (Brron 1500). Brron activates Revenge Soul, returning Reign-Beaux to his hand; Jaden activates Hummingbird's effect, gaining 500 LP per card in Brron's hand (Jaden 3300).

Brron's Turn

Brron activates Dark World Corridor and discards Celri, Monk of Dark World, activating its effect and Special Summoning it to Jaden's field (500/300) Celri's second effect activates, making Brron discard a card from his hand. Brron discards Reign-Beaux, activating its effect to Special Summon it (2500/1800) and destroy all monsters on Jaden's side of the field. Brron attacks directly (Jaden 800) and sets a card.

Jaden's Turn

Jaden activates O - Oversoul, Special Summoning Neos (2500/2000), then equips him Assault Armor, increasing his ATK by 300 (2800/2000). Neos attacks Reign-Beaux (Brron 1200), and by tributing Assault Armor, Neos can attack again. Brron activates Gateway to Dark World, Special Summoning Reign-Beaux again (2500/1800) (2500/2000). Both monsters are destroyed. Jaden activates Battle of Sleeping Spirits, allowing both players to Special Summon a monster destroyed in battle. However, Brron can't do so since Gateway to Dark World was activated that turn. Jaden attacks directly (Brron 0).

Jaden wins, but then is possessed by The Supreme King
