[edit] Major Events
- Ojin loses.
- Sartorius gets keys to satellite laser.
- Sartorius accomplishes a "Zero Turn Kill" (he never had a turn, so it's even better than an OTK).
[edit] Featured Duel #1: Syrus vs. Unidentified Boy
(Duel already in progress - Unidentified Boy controls "Berserk Gorilla"; Syrus controls "Jetroid")
[edit] Unidentified Boy's Turn
- Syrus hopes to use Jetroid's ability to activate "Magic Cylinder" from hand but the boy tributes "Berserk Gorilla" to Summon "Jinzo" and attacks Syrus's "Jetroid".
[edit] Syrus's Turn
- Syrus plays "Pot of Greed" to draw 2 cards. He summons "Expressroid" which adds 2 -roids from his Graveyard to his hand. He plays "Vehicroid Connection Zone" to summon "Super Vehicroid - Stealth Union". He attacks and wins the duel, gaining a Genex medal.
[edit] Featured Duel #2: Hasselbury vs. Unidentified Boy
(Duel already in progress - Hasselbury controls "Giant Rex" and "Element Saurus"; Unidentified Boy controls "Big Shield Gardna", "Gear Golem the Moving Fortress", and "Type Zero Magic Crusher")
[edit] Hasselebury's Turn
- Hasselebury tributes "Giant Rex" and "Element Saurus" to Summon "Black Tyranno".
- Since his opponent only has Defense Position monsters, "Black Tyranno" may attack directly. Hasselbury earns a Genex medal.
[edit] Featured Duel #3: Bastion vs. Unidentified Boy
(Duel already in progress - Bastion controls "Water Dragon"; Unidentified Boy -seemingly a FIRE-specialist- controls "Little Chimera", "Familiar-Possessed - Hiita", "Backfire", and has just activated "Molten Destruction")
[edit] Bastion 's Turn
- Bastion plays "Litmus Doom Ritual" by tributing "Water Dragon" to Summon "Litmus Doom Swordsman".
- Bastion realizes an attack on Familiar-Possessed - Hiita would result in a draw because of "Backfire". Instead, he tributes his Swordsman to Special Summon "Plasma Warrior Eitom".
- Halves "Plasma Warrior Eitom's" ATK to attack directly and win a Genex medal.
[edit] Featured Duel #4: Ojin vs. Sartorius
[edit] Ojin's Turn
- Activates Spell Card "Pot of Greed" to draw 2 cards.
- Activates Spell Card "Cost Down": Ojin discards "Rivalry of Warlords" to downgrade all Monster Cards in his hand by 2 Levels, allowing him to Summon "Satellite Cannon" (0 ATK / 0 DEF) without needing a Tribute.
- Activates Spell Card "Charge": it increases his Satellite Cannon's ATK by 2000 ("Satellite Cannon": 0 → 2000 ATK / 0 DEF).
- Activates Spell Card "Mischief of the Time Goddess": it allows him to skip the rest of his current turn and obtain a second turn immediately after, going directly to his Battle Phase.
- Since Ojin never went through his End Phase, "Satellite Cannon" does not gain 1000 ATK due to its effect.
- During his Battle Phase, activates Quick-Play Spell Card "Limiter Removal", doubling Satellite Cannon's ATK ("Satellite Cannon": 2000 → 4000 ATK / 0 DEF).
- Uses "Satellite Cannon" to attack Sartorius directly.
- Sartorius activates "Arcana Force XIV - Temperance's" effect, discarding it from his Hand to negate the Battle Damage.
- Ojin summons "Satellite Base" (0 ATK / 0 DEF) in Defense Position.
- Sartorius activates Spell Card "Intervention of Fate's" effect: he discards it from his Hand to activate Spell Card "Ace of Sword". He wins the toss, selecting Ojin's "Satellite Cannon" to inflict damage to Ojin equal to its ATK (Ojin: 4000 → 0 Life Points).
Sartorius wins in one turn, gaining keys to Ojin's satellite and a Genex medal. Since Sartorius technically never had a turn, Bastion Misawa dubs this occurence a "Zero Turn Kill."
