Dark Yugi prepares to draw what could be his last card, hoping that it is the card granted to him by Kaiba. Without even looking at it, he Sets the card, placing his hopes in it. In response, Dark Marik re-Summons "The Sun Dragon Ra," and unveils its second power.

Turn 6: Dark Yugi
Dark Yugi draws via the effect of "Zombie's Jewel." Without looking at the drawn card, he Sets it.

Turn 7: Dark Marik
Dark Marik draws. Dark Marik activates "Monster Reborn", to Special Summon "The Sun Dragon Ra" from his Graveyard ("Ra" ???? → 0/???? → 0) in Attack Position. He then activates "Ra"'s second ability, paying all but one of his Life Points and increasing the ATK and DEF of "Ra" by the same amount. (Marik 3000 → 1) ("The Sun Dragon Ra": 0 → 2999/0 → 2999) At this point, most of his body disappears, "merging" with "Ra." Dark Marik then activates another of "Ra"'s abilities, allowing him to Tribute any monsters he controls to increase the respective ATK/DEF of "Ra" by that of the Tributed monsters. He Tributes "Juragedo." (1700/1300) ("Ra" 2999 → 4699/2999 → 3299). "Ra" (fused with Marik) attacks Yugi directly, but Yugi activates his Set card, which is revealed to be "Devil's Sanctuary".
