Summary[]

Jonouchi's "Flame Swordsman" has just been saved, by Dark Yugi's "Dark Magician" and "Mystic Box" combo.

Meikyû the Elder begins his turn and draws "Sanga of the Thunder", one of the three guardians of the elements, along with "Suijin" and "Kazejin". In Duel Monsters some monsters can only be Summoned by playing several cards at once. Previously "Exodia" was the only one. However Pegasus created another one just for the Meikyû Brothers, "Gate Guardian", which is Summoned when "Suijin", "Kazejin" and "Sanga" come together. Meikyû the Elder plays "Sanga of the Thunder", which appears as a sealed box, with "雷" (rai), the symbol for thunder on it. Dark Yugi has a bad feeling about this and Meikyû the Elder thinks that Dark Yugi and Jonouchi may make it through the outer labyrinth, but by the time they reach the gates, "Gate Guardian" will be waiting for them.

With no enemy monsters in sight, Jonouchi moves "Flame Swordsman" forward and ends his turn.

Meikyû the Younger notes that his opponents have three monsters, which are closing in on his team. He is certain that they will not escape the labyrinth before the last two parts of "Gate Guardian" are played. He begins his turn, drawing "Suijin". He puts it on the field and it appears in another box; this one marked with "水" (sui), the symbol for water. Dark Yugi thinks that the air is becoming heavier and not just because of the oppressive atmospheric of the dungeon, but the presence of the monster in the box.

Meikyû the Younger Summons "Dungeon Worm", which comes out of the ground beneath "Celtic Guardian" and eats it, dropping Dark Yugi's Life Points to 1200. It then tunnels back underground and Meikyû the Younger explains that hides underground between meals and increases its ATK by 10% of its original ATK each time it eats an enemy. Dark Yugi compares the scenario to his Duel with Ryota Kajiki, where he could not attack the opponent's hidden monsters.
