• Yugi duels Grerimo, his first opponent from Dartz's Paradius organisation (although that information is not revealed at the time).
• Grerimo duels with "Obelisk the Tormentor" in his Deck, after his gang steals it (and the other two Egyptian God Cards) from Yugi's grandfather.
• This is the first time "The Seal of Orichalcos" is seen in the series and played against Yugi.

• Summons "Beta The Magnet Warrior" (1700 ATK / 1600 DEF) in Defense Position.
• Sets a card.

[edit] Grerimo's Turn

• Summons "Marauding Captain" (1200 ATK / 400 DEF), immediately activating its special ability to Special Summon "Shadow Tamer" (800 ATK / 700 DEF).
• Activates Field Spell Card "The Seal of Orichalcos". From now on, all of Grerimo's monsters will receive a +500 ATK boost and the loser of this Duel will lose his soul ("Marauding Captain": 1200 → 1700 ATK / 400 DEF) ("Shadow Tamer": 800 → 1300 ATK / 700 DEF).
• Attacks & destroys Yugi's "Beta The Magnet Warrior" with "Marauding Captain".
• Yugi activates Trap Card "Soul Rope", paying 1000 LP (Yugi: 4000 → 3000 Life Points) to Special Summon "Gamma The Magnet Warrior" (1500 ATK / 1800 DEF) from his Deck in Defense Position.
• Grerimo sets a card.

• Summons "Alpha The Magnet Warrior" (1400 ATK / 1700 DEF) in Attack Position.
• Grerimo activates Trap Card "Hidden Soldiers", Special Summoning "Makyura the Destructor" (1600 → 2100 ATK / 1200 DEF).
• Yugi activates Spell Card "The Shallow Grave", Special Summoning "Beta The Magnet Warrior" (1700 ATK / 1600 DEF) from his Graveyard in Defense Position. Since Grerimo has no monsters in his Graveyard, he cannot make use of "The Shallow Grave's" effect.
• Tributes "Alpha The Magnet Warrior", "Beta The Magnet Warrior" and "Gamma The Magnet Warrior" to Special Summon "Valkyrion the Magna Warrior" (3500 ATK / 3850 DEF), using it to attack & destroy Grerimo's "Marauding Captain" (Grerimo: 4000 → 2200 Life Points).

• Activates Spell Card "Monster Reborn" to Special Summon "Marauding Captain" back from his Graveyard (1200 → 1700 ATK / 400 DEF).
• Tributes "Makyura the Destructor", "Shadow Tamer" and "Marauding Captain" to Summon "Obelisk the Tormentor" (4000 → 4500 ATK / 4000 DEF).
