[edit] Yu-Gi-Oh! GX manga card images

Heya, I've got a few GX manga card images to upload. But I've noticed a few diffrences between Yu-Gi-Oh! Duelist and Yu-Gi-Oh! GX images:

  • The card names, Level Stars, ATK and DEF are all smaller on the GX ones.
  • Below the card names on Spell Cards in Duelist, they use [Spell Card], in GX they use (Spell Card). Same with Traps.
  • ATK and DEF are formatted ATK / 2000 in Duelist and ATK 2000' in GX.

Is it worth sticking -GX at the end of the filenames, before I upload them? -- Deltaneos 09:48, 18 April 2008 (UTC)

Then why is the cost and effect in the same sentence. If it was just 'Remove 5 DARK monsters out of play. Then, draw 3 cards.', you would be right, but since there is no full stop between them, it is the cost and effect.

  • In the Battle Phase when you attack a monster do you calculate damage first,or does the monster get destroyed first?
  • I understand.But,a person keeps bugging me about Skyscraper and I showed him the Battle Phase Breakdown.He said that my monster gets destroyed and his monster doesn't.He 
says that it's because of Skyscraper's text.It says Damage Calculation Only.Battle Phase Breakdown says:Sub Step:Damage Calculation,Sub Step:Monster gets destroyed.Does this mean that my opponent's monster doesn't get destroyed?Please explain if you understand what I mean.

Hi,

I noticed you undid my token images with the comment "We don't want these images."

1) Who is "we"? I thought this was a wiki. A community where everyone gets to improve things. Is this not the case? If so, I can certainly leave things alone and not contribute.

2) Secondly, it bothers me that the token images that are included are in clear violation of copyright laws. Especially, given the fact that they include a false copyright law on the bottom of the card. My images are original, uncopyrighted and free for everyone to use.

"Call of the Earthbound" is called "Earthbound Spirit's Invitation" in its rulings and is listed in the Es on the ude website. Pretty odd. Obvously we'll still record them in Card Rulings:Call of the Earthbound', but should we correct the names? ie leave it as

"Earthbound Spirit's Invitation" does not target

or change it to

"Call of the Earthbound's Invitation" does not target?

[edit] Macro Cosmos/Dimensional Fissure vs. Necro Valley

Okay, so I've had this long standing debate with a friend of mine who runs a Gravekeeper's Deck. Personally, a very good and flexible deck in my view, but he challenges my Removal Deck by saying that Macro Cosmos or Dimensional Fissure won't effect the way Necro Valley works. My issue is that in Macro Cosmos's card text it states that when a monster is sent to the Graveyard, instead it is sent directly to the Remove from Play pile. My friend contests that the effect is negated, but when I read Necro Valley it states nothing about negating the effect of something that doesn't even hit the graveyard, but is instead removed.

Please help me figure this one out by emailing me at D_SHumphreys@verizon.net and telling me what the truth behind this match up is.

TwoTailedFox...why do you keep undoing any changes I make to cards? You've changed the image for Dragon Lady, deleted the Trivia I wrote, and changed the effect for Flying Dragon Whirl taht I edited to fit in with current TCG Lores and thus be easier to understand. I'm not accusing anyone - I know you are a smart individual and will have good reasons for all this - but I'd like to know, since it's frustrating to have everything deleted.

Damn... I've just seen now that Spell Ruler was the new name of Magic Ruler... As you may have notes I have been creating (or Improving) the Card Search Categories area of the card pages. Here my problem the Elemental Hero God Neos page has been locked from editing so I can't do that one. So I ask if you can unlock the page so I can do that area. If you can't then I ask if you could add this code in that area:

[edit] Speed World - Issues Concerning Effect Damage

Is there any proof that Effect Damage doesn't decrease the SPC of a player? We all know that when Battle Damage is taken, SPC is reduced by invervals of 1000, rounded down. However, what about Effect Damage? Here's the bare evidence:

All in all, both examples prove that Effect Damage can play a role in decreasing Speed Counters. In Ushio's case, there were no Speed Counters on his opponent to decrease. In Mukuro Enjo's case, the concepts of Speed Counters weren't shown in that duel as a whole because no Speed Spells were used. Only in the future, when a Riding Duel with clear proof of burn occurs, can we know if Effect Damage plays a role in decreasing Speed Counters.

[edit] Inconsistency in Booster Pack Pages

I am planning to create the set card list page for some booster pack. But then I saw that in some pages like in LOB to GLAS that there are card spoiler list there already while in PTDN and LODT there is a set card list page. I'm just confused whether it is still relevant to make those pages. Also, it concerns me that the layuot of the pages about booster packs are not consistent. (e.g. in DP04, and DP05 there is no page for card ratios, some page have no set card ratio page, while some especially those earlier packs have dead links). Dark Pride 09:50, 26 June 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Any Ideas for the FEATURED CARD of July 2008?

I'm not gonna let Dark Armed Dragon stay as the featured card for three months like Dark Magician Girl was. If anybody has any ideas, let me know. In my opinion, Judgment Dragon seems like a worthy card. After all, the Lightsworns are the counters of Dark Armed Dragon decks. I'm pretty good at supplying the facts of the featured cards, but not good at making it user-friendly. In other words, comparing Dark Magician Girl to the anime and Skelengel to Valentine's Day. If anybody can help me on that part, like "The almighty judgment day has come to settle the defeat of your opponent" and "they will be tested by the almighty dragon if they are worthy for one more turn" or something like that, I'll be grateful.

Are we still using card searchers that only search one type of card (ex. Neo Space Pathfinder, Destroyersaurus, Elemental Hero Captain Gold, ect.) or are we doing this for all searcher cards and if so should i go back a delete all searcher cards from all the cards i've done so far? Can you glance at the rulings forum and look over my post?

The idea is that when you resummon a Gemini its in the same set of situations as being removed from the field, almost as if for half a second the monster returns to your hand and is summoned again, therefore meaning that any effects targetting that monster before the summon have lost their target and are then null. . . Most importantly is the effect of Swing of Memories

This makes a bit of confusion when it comes to equip cards, I'm not sure if the equip card would remain attached if what I'm saying is true, if the equip card is linked specifically to the monster, or if its equipped to the monster card zone might be the part of the ruling that gets called into play. . .

Can you show me the full syntax for a query using the new semantic system in place? How do I set up properties to sort by? Which properties are available for sorting? How do I specify the length of my query?

I know I'm not from an English speaking country, but I couldn't help but notice that this card's name is incorrect. I checked it up in a dictionary and saw that the verb "weave" (not weve) means to knit. So a weaver is a person who weaves or knits. I didn't want to change it myself because I'm not a native speaker. So if you want to, you can also google it and see it for yourself in a dictionary. Exodiax 18:22, 17 July 2008 (UTC)
