Deck?[]

Does This Mean Rio Will Be dueling it Says Ice Queen Does She Play a ice Deck? —This unsigned comment was made by ZombieLionel (talkcontribs) 16:53, October 24, 2012‎

Possibly. However, it is too soon to tell. She may have an "icy" demeanor instead, so it is best to leave opinions out of the episode page. Also, remember to sign your post with the 4 (~) at the end. --UltimateKuriboh (talkcontribs) 17:07, October 24, 2012 (UTC)
I wonder if Sentaro Ariga from the previous episode is actually Rio being controlled by the Barian World, and Shark is going to end up having to Duel his own sister? And her Deck may be full of ice-themed monsters meant to counter all of Shark's water-themed monsters. In fact, I'll even bet that they're the new Ice Counter-themed monsters from Abyss Rising. Well, shut my mouth. I just saw the preview for episode 78. So much for my theory. RedDrgn (talkcontribs) 06:37, October 30, 2012 (UTC)
Actually, now that I think about it, I might still be right. But Ariga and Rio are definitely two different people.RedDrgn (talkcontribs) 03:10, October 31, 2012 (UTC)

Number?[]

Is this confirmed? Will there be a new Number card shown in this upcoming episode? --Rocket.knight.777 (talkcontribs) 05:06, November 4, 2012 (UTC)

Yes it was confirmed on the Neo Ark website. --E.G.G. (My Contributions) 09:12, November 4, 2012 (UTC)
I've watched the next episode previews and I haven't saw a Number or something that could guide that the Number exists o_O. --FruityMan99 (talkcontribs) 20:54, November 4, 2012 (UTC)

I'm guessing, based on the cards on here already, that Rio's actually the one with the Number. --74.5.137.103 (talk) 14:55, November 11, 2012 (UTC)
Nope, I just watched the ep, there's no Number card in it at all.--Rocket.knight.777 (talkcontribs) 18:11, November 11, 2012 (UTC)
Rio's unknown Spell Card is Zettai Reitou, that's sure, the name means Full Freeze, or something similar. The Xyz monster is Tenchoujuu - Shirufiine, that's something like Sky Winged Beast - Silphine literally, but I'm not sure in the chou part, that can be jou too, and that's Queen. 91.146.145.130 (talk) 19:03, November 11, 2012 (UTC)

Taoyame's effect vs. Diamond Dust[]

This is really a small thing, but in the play-by-play of the turn, shouldn't Rio activating "Diamond Dust" come before Aika activating the effect of "Taoyame" to inflict damage, or at least a note that Rio activated her card previously? I know we don't discover that Rio activated anything until afterward, but she explicitly says that she used "Dust" before "Taoyame" activated, not as a response, (implying that it was used when the monster was summoned) and that's the only way the math works out. Why? Because if Rio had activated after, here's what would happen:

Chain Link 1: Taoyame's effect Chain Link 2: Diamond Dust is activated.

Resolving backwards:

Diamond Dust destroys Blizzard Falcon and inflicts 500 damage to Aika. This also reduces the number of cards on the field by one.

Taoyame resolves and deals its damage, but here's the thing. Spell and Trap Cards that activate in a chain do not leave the field until the whole chain resolves, not just when they do. This means that with the way the duel is explained right now, Rio would take 2400 damage, not 2000, because Diamond Dust would still be on the field and she would have lost on the next turn when she played Monster Reborn.

Since that obviously didn't happen, I'm thinking maybe we should fix the description or at least clarify why Rio didn't lose. PHASE (talkcontribs) 20:19, November 18, 2012 (UTC)
