[edit] Toon Archetype?
People complain when I confuse type for archetype. However, Toons have an archetype when they are a type. May someone explain why Toons have an Archetype listening while others, such as Spirits and Unions, do not. MezzoDragon 16:52, 18 April 2009 (UTC)
- Toon can refer to two different things:
- Toon Monsters: Monsters that have Toon listed after their Type. These are supported by cards like "Toon World". (This is considered the Monster Type)
- "Toon" cards: Cards which have "Toon" in their name. These are supported by cards like "Toon Table of Contents". (This is considered the Archetype)
- An example of where this actually makes a difference is, "Toon Alligator" is a "Toon" monster, but not a Toon Monster.
- Effectively there's little or no difference between the two, which is why we only have 1 article. For consistancy sake, we should really have 2 seperate articles. All the SMW projects would work better if they had seperate pages too. -- Deltaneos (talk) 17:58, 18 April 2009 (UTC)
[edit] Setting Toon Monsters
Can you SET a Toon monster if you don't control Toon World?Jupitus 13:20, 16 August 2009 (UTC) Class A and B Toons cannot be set as their effect clearly reads. Class C Toons can be set.--67.177.14.141 03:18, October 9, 2009 (UTC)
