Talk:Spirit Reaper
From Yu-Gi-Oh!
Mr friend is a jackass and nagged me to destroy spirit reaper after activating swords of revealing light, he's wrong right?
No, since Swords does not target.
[edit] Effect Concern
The Spirit reaper that I have is an original from PGD, and reads that he is destroyed when he is "specifically designated". Now the reprinting says that he is destroyed whenever he "is targeted by the effect of a[n]...effect monster". I was curious how a ruling would work if he were face up on my side of the field and a Witch's Apprentice were summoned. Would he gain the 500 attack points and then be destroyed? Or since he is not targeted by Witch's Apprentice but merely benefiting from it, would he gain the 500 attack and remain on the field?
No, since Witch's Apprentice does not target.
[edit] Spirit Reaper Vs. Creature Swap
Let's say that I have a Spirit Reaper and my opponent has a monster, and then I activate Creature Swap, and I choose Spirit Reaper, does Spirit Reaper get destroyed when it is switched to my opponent's side, and do I get my opponent's monster? —This unsigned comment was made by Thewillprince (talk • contribs) on 23:41, 7 December 2009 (UTC).
- "Creature Swap" does not target, so "Spirit Reaper" wouldn't be destroyed. The two monsters would be swapped as normal. -- Deltaneos (talk) 23:54, December 7, 2009 (UTC)
