From Yu-Gi-Oh!
I can do a normal summon face-up in defense position?
- No. Not unless Light of Intervention or a similar card allows you to. Under normal circumstances you cannot Normal Summon in face-up Defense Position. --Deltaneos 21:18, 17 July 2007 (UTC)
[edit] hmmmm
I've never seen them do the tribute summon to normal summon a card in the tv show. Is it something I missed or is it not in the tv show just the tangible game?--Blueyeyesawesomedragon 22:47, 29 January 2009 (UTC)
- Its in there. Most of the series has it besides the first season. In the Battle City, it was first introduced
[edit] Why don't they set in latter part of the Yugioh series?
I haven't seen any other "seting" besides the first season of yugioh. Havent seenit in GX of 5d's either Why is this? Qim1 19:51, 19 April 2009 (UTC)
In the TV Show, you are allowed to summon in Face-Up Defense Position. Actually, in the manga for Battle city, you actually couldn't Set monsters. Sabre Knight 20:13, 13 May 2009 (UTC)
PS - But I do believe Setting would be a better Strategy, except in the case of continuous effects. Sabre Knight 20:13, 13 May 2009 (UTC)
- OK, thanks, but why would you Not set a monster then? Couldnt you just set a monster insead of playing it faceup in defense? Is there any negative effects?--Qim1 21:18, 16 May 2009 (UTC)
