can a monster that says "cannot be special summoned except by" be equipped with this card and work. example monster would be volcanic doomfire
- Actually Volcanic Doomfire is semi-Nomi, once it's been properly summoned the first time it can be re-summoned, so Ribbon of Rebirth would work on it. I can think of few situations where it would be needed, though, Doomfire is very strong and not too likely to be destroyed by battle unless they can also get out a 3000 ATK or higher monster. ah doomfire says cannot be normal summoned or set so that would make it a Nomi card so ribbon of rebirth wouldnt work with it
