I'm taking it from the text of the card that the effect of negating Spell, Trap and effects takes place automatically and that the user does not get a choice in weather to chain or not. Am I correct in this assumption?Keshrin 00:02, 8 August 2008 (UTC)

After reading this monster's effect, I did not realize that the effect only activated once per chain. I thought that every time an effect was activated (such as crystal beast amythest cat attacking directly then since it was destroyed, becoming a spell & trap) L&D's effect would activate again. So I have a specific scenario I don't know the answer to. Suppose this monster is on the field when I synchro summon Black rose Dragon, but the tuner used was The White Stone of Legend. L&D would negate the stone, but Black rose's effect would still resolve?
I beleive The White Stone of Legend is in a different chain than the activation of Black Rose Dragon. Therefor, LADD will negate the white stone of legend and black rose if opponent chooses to activate it.
