The stars[]

So, the five stars on the card in the JP version. Unless they are present in the bubble speech when Haga says the card name as well, I say those are just monster Level stars which were mistakenly put in the card. It doesn't make sense for a card to have five stars in its name, and from the pic we have, they are /below/ the card's name, where a monster's Level would be. Errors and typos like this are pretty common. LegendaryAsariUgetsu (talkcontribs) 13:00, November 26, 2016 (UTC)

The Level stars are on both the English and Japanese card. In the dialogue bubble, they aren't printed as stars, but Haga calls the card "Insect Gun Armor Level 5" or 火器付機甲鎧レベル5, with "Level 5" being one way of reading them.
In The Gospel of Truth, the stars are not considered to be part of the card name.
I think the stars were just an early idea, for indicating the strength of a power boost, which was not used again. -- Deltaneos (talk) 16:55, November 27, 2016 (UTC)
I think it's also worth noting that the concept of these Equip Cards having levels in their names seems to have carried over to the anime too, with "Lev. 2 Power Boost", "Laser Cannon Machine Armor Level 3", and "Insect Armor with Laser Cannon Lev. 5". --SnorlaxMonster 17:52, November 27, 2016 (UTC)
