It is so stupid that Metamorphosis is forbidden. Now no one can use Elemental Hero Neo Bubbleman in any Advanced Format duel. They should have either limited that card, or changed Neo Bubbleman's summoning conditions. A third option could be a new card that either changes its name to Metamorphosis when it's in your hand (but not have that card's effect), or (under its own conditions) be able to summon Elemental Hero Neo Bubbleman ignoring Neo Bubbleman's summoning conditions. The same goes for Butterfly Dagger - Elma. Seriously, if a card is required for the use (or at least intended use) of another card is forbidden, then the other card should be forbidden too. Otherwise, we'd have useless cards that are allowed in the game. What are we going to do with cards like that?--Dragonking 22:43, 19 November 2008 (UTC)

They've forbidden Premature Burial and Call of the Haunted?! Are they going to forbid every card that can summon any monster from your graveyard regardless of what cost each of said cards may have? This has gotten really stupid.--Dragonking 00:54, 21 December 2008 (UTC)

Technically, yes. It is to make the game more far for people. I guess its not a rule that you absolutely can't play these cards, but it is to make it so nobody has any unfair advantage. These rules are enforced.--Qim1 13:07, 30 June 2009 (UTC)

i most definetly agree some cards should not be banned at all.. like magician of faith? come on seriously.. why ban a card like that instead of limiting it down to 1..or how is a good card like chaos dragon on the envoy banned when u got a card like stardust dragon/assault mode running around and that card is not limited down to one..chaos dragon of the envoy should be brough back and limited to one.. and i think a petition should be started to bring back certain cards from that banned list and limit them to 1.

Personally, I dont get why some cards are banned and others not,for example, call of the haunted? That is not as good as monster reborn So, I don't really get why some cards are banned and similar others are not.--Qim1 13:09, 30 June 2009 (UTC)

Listen,even if a card is more powerful than another you have to consider the comboes that can be done with it.For example:Premature Burial requires to rest on the field and a payment of 800 Life Points.Monster Reborn doesn't have any of these conditions.So why did Premature Burial get banned instead of leaving Monster Reborn banned?Here's the answer:it is the name of one card:Brionac, Dragon of the Ice Barrier.People used Rescue Cat Synchro combo to Summon it on the first turn,then used Premature Burial to bring back Rescue Cat.Then they used Brionac's effect to repeat this until they had four Synchro Monsters and one other monster on the field.Can you do this with Monster Reborn?--LightswornLord 13:27, 30 June 2009 (UTC)

This card is very useful in Zombie deck, because most of Zombie monsters resolve around summoning each other from the Graveyard. If "Zombie World" is on your side of field, some cards like "Zombie Master", "Mezuki" can easily create an Infinite Loop (draw all cards in your deck in one turn) or even OTK (If you have cards like "Mass Driver", "Dark Strike Fighter" etc. on the field). This card is also very good in use with other cards like "The Creator", "Destiny Hero - Captain Tenacious" etc. --Blackwings0605 23:42, 4 August 2009 (UTC)
