  • Should it be there? I commented it out for now. Danny Lilithborne 02:58, 13 February 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Probability

I kinda got bored and decided 2 find out the chance of getting the effect of exodia before the 1st draw phase, it is(with a 40-card deck): 0.000152% very slim lol--Rkdew0 04:47, 15 July 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Rulings

I have 2 questions.

1. I have 3 pieces of Exodia in my hand. I activate Dark World Lightning. My opponent chains The Gift of Greed. I draw the last 2 pieces. Do I have to discard for Dark World Lightning?

2. I have 4 pieces of Exodia in my hand, and 1 card in my deck (the last piece). I activate Pot of Greed. Do I win, lose, or is it a draw? A1lion835 21:56, 13 November 2008 (UTC)A1lion835

1.* If the target of Dark World Lightning was the flipped The Gift of Greed, then Dark World Lightning cannot resolve, so you dont have to discard.

2.Pot of Greed includes "draw" in its lore, so it's not optional, if you cant draw the second card, you lose.

  • By the way, in both ocassions you have the 5 parts in your hand at some moment, but since you can't win mid-chain, you have to wait till every other effects active resolve.-WaTz- 22:57, 13 November 2008 (UTC)

3.If I got 4 pieces of exodia in my hand (Except Exodia the Forbidden One) ,during my draw phase ,I draw Exodia the Forbidden One ,if opponent got Divine Wrath ,he can use Divine Wrath to negate the "effect" of the Exodia the Forbidden One or not ?

  • No. The game ending condition does not involve activating an effect. Once you have the cards, you win. Danny Lilithborne 08:35, 4 February 2009 (UTC)

Can Exodia be used during either players turn?

[edit] hand

do they have to be in your hand or can some be on the field and some in your hand or all on the field?--Blueyeyesawesomedragon 00:28, 17 March 2009 (UTC)

I have my own question similar to A1lion835's second question. If a single card effect allows me to draw several cards at once (i.e. Card Destruction, Super Rejuvenation, etc.), and I draw the fifth piece but eventually deck out, do I loose even if the fifth piece isn't close to the last card?--Dragonking 17:37, November 1, 2009 (UTC)

  • Similar to Pot Of Greed, if you can't draw the number of cards needed because you Decked out, then you lose.PoirotH 17:42, November 1, 2009 (UTC)

I got 4 pieces in my hand and a Sangan on my side of the field. I have 3000 Life Points and my opponent has two blue-eyes. He attacks my Sangan and I get the last piece. Can I use Exodia right now or do I take the direct attack?
