Seventh Variant Error[]

Seventh Variant does not work. Return From the Different Dimension results in monsters going to the field, whereas Exodia requires to be in the hand to work.

3rd Variant[]

I threw in a couple of the Normal Tuners (Tune Warrior, Guard of Flamvell) into a Deck like this because certain Synchro Monsters are conducive to the stall oriented theme of the deck (especially Goyo Guardian for his high (in this case stalling) ATK and Brionac, Dragon of the Ice Barrier for his ability to make use of the numerous cards you draw through Heart of the Underdog to clear your opponent's field. To easily pull either out, just Set Giant Soldier of Stone or Chamberlain of the Six Samurai, hope they don't die, and Summon Tune Warrior on your next turn. I'm sure other combos are possible, but those worked for me.

6th Variant?[]

Exactly how is Sangan repeatedly used in variant 6? The way I see it you could only use it twice: once from Normal Summoning it, and once from Limit Reverse/Dark Eruption. I don't quite understand how this would work besides just drawing cards and using Sangan a couple times. EgyptianGods 04:06, November 3, 2009 (UTC)

Hide Head Turtle, or anyone else, explain why Bistro Butcher Exodia won't work.[]

What the title says. Zeroblizzard (talkcontribs) 01:19, August 11, 2010 (UTC)Zeroblizzard

I don't see anything wrong with it, apart from how it's inconsistent. You need to summon Butcher and have Creature Swap, then hope the opponent doesn't get rid of it, wait till your next turn, summon a searcher and attack and hope they don't stop you then. -Falzar FZ- (talk page|useful stuff) 01:29, August 11, 2010 (UTC)

  • It's not really incosistent. You can always clean the field of magic cards some way (like Heavy Storm), then normal summon Bistro Butcher, activate creature swap, and then special summon a searcher by a different way (including but not limited to Double Summon). Then use the searcher loop to keep drawing cards.

Chimeratech Exodia[]

Why do you keep on deleting this deck?

It's a valid way to get Exodia, the fact that you feel that "Chimeratech is better used for another OTK" has nothing to do with it, now does it?

It takes advantage of Cyber Valley and Cyber Ouroboro effect, so it's not only about "Using Future Vision".

Again, there's no point. Just use Overload Fusion to OTK and then you don't need Exodia which just adds inconsistency. BF2 Talk Deck Guides 23:19, November 11, 2011 (UTC)

  • What do you mean there is no point? The point is clearly drawing Exodia. It's just a different focus. Instead of summoning and attacking (which can be risky for a lot of reasons), it focus on filling your hand. I really don't get what you mean by "inconsistency", because this strategy seems to work as fine as the Worm variant. Why is that ok, but not this one?

The Worm Variant has no Overload Fusion. With Overload Fusion you don't need Exodia. Instead of needing to draw 5 cards, why not just focus on drawing one? BF2 Talk Deck Guides 23:34, November 11, 2011 (UTC)

If there's a better variant then you should post it instead. That's the point. I'm not sure that Worm Exodia should even be here, from my experience it doesn't work. BF2 Talk Deck Guides 23:42, November 11, 2011 (UTC)

  • I'll not deny that the Overload Fusion is better, since it's easier to do and gives you more freedom of which cards you can include in your deck. But then again, the focus of these variants are completely different. One focus on summoning a big-ass dragon that can pierce damage and multiple attack, the other one focus on self-milling yourself in order to get exodia, possibly using Cyber Ouroboro or Cyber Valley to get more cards. "Post the best variant" only works when both variants focus on the same target.

Worm Exodia is viable. Machine Exodia is less viable, but it also exists, and as rule we do not exclude decks because they are not as good as others. Otherwise the only article on the wikia would be about Plant Synchro. Lappyzard (talkcontribs) 00:44, November 12, 2011 (UTC)

Why not just remove Worm? It's bad. BF2 Talk Deck Guides 01:19, November 12, 2011 (UTC)

Because it exists. Why not remove Jester Lord OTK? Why not remove Position Change Clowns? Why not remove Dark Scorpion? They are all terrible. Why not remove everything that isn't Tengu Plants, Agents, T.G., Karakuri, and Dark World? -_- Lappyzard (talkcontribs) 15:14, November 12, 2011 (UTC)

Okay. BF2 Talk Deck Guides 15:18, November 12, 2011 (UTC)

there isn't a page on how to counter these decks so maybe someone who's better at editing then me could add one. Tonberryking (talkcontribs) 20:15, December 14, 2012 (UTC)

banned card in exodia deck profile[]

if im not wrong in the standard deck for exodia on the exodia deck otk page. The spell card "painful choice" is banned so if you can update the deck profile it would be good thank you. 174.94.92.51 (talk) 23:59, February 8, 2013 (UTC)

Swap Frog can't be looped?[]

About the Swap Emperor OTK, I think that swap frog can't be returned to the hand if you don't have a FROG monster to summon. Why? Well because the rules in the card say:

"Once per turn, you can return 1 monster you control to your hand to Normal Summon 1 "Frog" monster, except "Swap Frog""

What do you think?

  • RE above, you can bounce Swap Frog as many times as you like, whether or not you have a viable monster in hand. I don't have a link to any proof of this but I know it's right, and I'm sure most people would agree. AKD999 (talkcontribs) 16:20, February 28, 2013 (UTC)
