Have more people confirm it besides Shriek

There is a LOT wrong with this article right now; the "Japanese name" actually says Duelist Pack, NOT Duelist Revolution. Also, we have no idea of how many cards are even going to be in the set, let alone what rarities will and so on. The set is HUGELY unconfirmed right now, even if Shriek is a very reliable source.

The exact same thing happened with Absolute Powerforce. It was unconfirmed, and then later completely confirmed and nearly released into the TCG. I'm sure that this will be a real pack, as the first sets in each series have "Duelist" in them. But then again, I could be wrong. But to find out for sure, we're gonna' have to wait until around 21st January, release date of the next V-Jump Issue. If it's not confirmed in there, it won't be a real set. --AARONmeister 16:41, January 8, 2010 (UTC)

  • The thing is, is that at the moment, even Shriek has this as Unconfirmed.Altyrell 18:58, January 8, 2010 (UTC)

Shriek posts confirmed AND unconfirmed news. Most likely confirmed, but if it's an unconfirmed set then they post it as unconfirmed. --AARONmeister 19:00, January 8, 2010 (UTC)

I have an idea. Let`s just leave it open until it is confirmed. Otherwise we have to keep editing it. Until it is confirmed not to exist, keep it open. Simple. - Sebastiaan

So we should just not delete the page until we get the confirmed 1st set of 7th sereis. --AARONmeister 11:21, January 10, 2010 (UTC)

Yes--Tapper930 16:57, January 10, 2010 (UTC)

Confirmed[]

This set is confirmed! Click here! --AARONmeister 07:41, January 22, 2010 (UTC)

Shriek is not a reliable source.--Tapper930 20:04, January 22, 2010 (UTC)
Bullcrap. You are so wrong that it's not funny. Zeroblizzard 17:19, April 4, 2010 (UTC)Zeroblizzard

Confirmed on Nakamura OCG (nakamuraocg.webs.com), owned by Nakamura Kyousuke, Rank II Official Konami OCGJudge.

RE:Shriek[]

Actually, Shriek is one of the most reliable sources (when the articles are confirmed, mind) when it comes to sets as he gets most of his information from V-Jump. User:Toob/Talk 11:01, January 27, 2010 (UTC)

Miracle Contact[]

Is it possible that Miracle Contact could appear in this pack? It does give support to fusion monsters and also helps an existing theme. Neo-Spacian Adanac 20:52, February 7, 2010 (UTC)

  • Unlikely, but keep praying.--YamiWheeler 21:39, February 7, 2010 (UTC)
  • Yeah, My user name does give it away-I like Neo-Spacians. --Neo-Spacian Adanac 15:30, February 8, 2010 (UTC)
  • That kinda sucks for you then, since they seem like a retired archetype now.--YamiWheeler 15:34, February 8, 2010 (UTC)
  • Sad but true. The release of Twilight packs did improve my deck slightly, but not alot. But maybe because Jaden was in the 10th Anniversary Movie they might release it. If they did that would make my day. --Neo-Spacian Adanac 15:57, February 8, 2010 (UTC)

New info?[]

http://www.janime.eu/showthread.php/38949-Set-701-Duelist-Revolution/page2 Can we trust this site? (post #84 and #94) Falzar FZ 08:41, February 16, 2010 (UTC)

  • Since the source of Japanese text given is unconfirmed. We shouldn't put this in the main page --Blackwings0605 15:28, February 16, 2010 (UTC)

Actually the info from there is true, i know this becuase the source they use for getting info for this booster is the same one they use to get all info for the episodes as well. DracoX 16:40, February 16, 2010 (UTC)

  • What about Valkyries and Toons? OMG! You did it 16:53, February 16, 2010 (UTC)
  • The info for new episodes comes from this thread in Nintendo BBS site, mostly posted by an user named XYZ龙加农 with confirmed scan image. The Accel Synchro, Valkyries and Toons they got from http://www.2chan.net/ site as far as I know is the very big site where people can upload image and discuss for everything. The info may be given by one of an anonymous user and there is visual source to confirm it. Read post#79 and post#85, it's fully unconfirmed info. --Blackwings0605 09:00, February 17, 2010 (UTC)

a Duelist Revolution it will be[]

One theory that I know of is that there will be Accel Synchros and Tuner Synchros in up coming booster packs starting with this one. There will also be a change in game. The extra deck will go from 15 max to 20 max with only up to 5 of them being Tuners Synchro. The main deck will also go up from 60 cards max to 80. Accel Synchro Summonings will happen durring your opponets turn but you can only do 1 Accel Synchro Summon per turn--EMPSBladeKnight60 03:16, March 4, 2010 (UTC)

  • Care to share your proof?Altyrell 03:18, March 4, 2010 (UTC)
  • the only thing i got is this ->[1] the web site its self is impossiable to get into if you are mathmatically challanged but he is a trusted source and it is you tube so your got a video to go with it.--EMPSBladeKnight60 03:21, March 4, 2010 (UTC)
  • This is about that same post as before. This has not been proven true at all. Without any visual proof, this source cannot be relied upon.--71.80.67.80 06:02, March 4, 2010 (UTC)

What if these "Synchro Fusion" monsters ARE Accel Synchros? What if Dark Glass just used a Fusion Trap card like Jaden in the manga? These aren't Synchros so Wisel and Skiel can't touch them, and that's what the Accels where built for. If these are Accels, it's a bit dissapointing, first they build on Contact Fusion with the new synchro monsters, and now we go back to last generation with fusion monsters? Maybe I'm wrong, and I hope I am.--Azure Knight-Zeo 15:30, March 17, 2010 (UTC)

You may be right because apparently Accel Synchro Monsters are still treated as Synchro Monsters. The only way that Accel Synchro Monsters can get around the Infinities is when an Infinity monster tries to absorb a synchro you chain with the summoning of an Accel Synchro seeing as the effects of Infinity monsters are once per turn. Blaze Pyro 15:31, March 21, 2010 (UTC)

Pack Image[]

Why is the dragon guy on the front blurred out? Doesn't anyone have his full picture? --Narutoheroes12 23:44, March 10, 2010 (UTC)

That scrambled image is a tease. A full, clear picture is not available yet.

That is mean to the power of painful.--Dragonking 02:27, March 12, 2010 (UTC)

I think the gray thing at the top is the knight's sword. Also, the dragon seems to be blue and white, so it's probably Ancient Fairy Dragon, but I don't think that monster has a pink tail.--Dragonking 23:57, March 12, 2010 (UTC)

I don't think that Surging Dragon Knight has anything to do with Ancient Fairy Dragon.--71.80.67.80 05:25, March 13, 2010 (UTC)

Hmm the name and "tease" image seem very similar to the dragunity knight archetype and since theres a possibility of a dragunity structure deck then this might possibly be true

Still, so far every 5ds cover card, with the exception of Power Tool Dragon, has been one of or related to the Signer Dragons, so I'm quite positive that one of them is dragon in the fusion of Surging Dragon Knight Dragonquites. But I am open to any possibility at this point.--Dragonking 23:35, March 14, 2010 (UTC)

  • The art for Miracle Synchro Fusion sort of hints at a fusion between Stardust Dragon and Red Dragon Archfiend. It could be that. Or it might not be. Who knows. I have to say though - this is the first set in a long time that I'm actually interested in, especially after seeing that Psychicker monster. Regardless of how playable it is, it's defo very cool.--YamiWheeler 02:06, March 15, 2010 (UTC)

Pack's Font and Background Circle[]

They seem to be different from before (DM had the "Magician's Rune Circle", GX had none particular background, however 5Ds series packs have a second one allready. They've decided to make it a "revolution" after all. Fuel Synchron 11:49, March 28, 2010 (UTC)

amazoness cards[]

the amazoness cards on shriek are for april fools, they're not real. —This unsigned comment was made by 174.21.137.201 (talkcontribs) 03:32, 2 April 2010 (UTC)

Oh really, this was confirmed BEFORE today arrive. --FredCat100 14:23, April 1, 2010 (UTC)
To make things look less obvious, April Fools jests are usually launched a day or 2 early. DemonGodAsura 16:15, April 1, 2010 (UTC)
Then it wouldn't be an April Fool's joke. Your argument doesn't make any sense. On another hand, can we get a set card gallery for this set? Zeroblizzard 03:20, April 2, 2010 (UTC)Zeroblizzard
Things catch you off guard when you aren't expecting them. That's why jests are launched a day or 2 early/late, to surprise you more. In this day and age, everyone knows to keep an eye out on April Fools. DemonGodAsura 17:26, April 4, 2010 (UTC)
Looks like your right, my bad. I didn't see the scans. speaking of things that might be real or not, what do you think of the legality of the new pack, "Starstrike Blast"? —This unsigned comment was made by 174.21.137.201 (talkcontribs) 03:32, 2 April 2010 (UTC)

John or Jean?[]

I notice this article says cards used by 'Jean' but I thought some people call him John and that Jean is a mistranslation. Am I right or is it supposed to be Jean? Blaze Pyro 14:27, April 25, 2010 (UTC)

It's such to be Jean original. John was mistake. --FredCat100 14:30, April 25, 2010 (UTC)

Fabled Raven and Others[]

Where did Fabled Raven, Stygian Street Patrol and Mystical Refpanel come from? Is there any proof to them? And how did we get names for the Unicorn Synchros so fast? --Narutoheroes12 01:04, May 23, 2010 (UTC)

The official page posted it: http://www.yugioh-card.com/en/products/bp-drev.html "Duelist Revolution also includes many cards to team up with your monsters from other sets. Combine Fabled Raven with other “Fabled” monsters in Hidden Arsenal 2 and Hidden Arsenal 3. Add Stygian Street Patrol to your favorite Fiend Deck. And use Mystical Refpanel to re-direct Spell Card effects from one player to another! Plus new Amazoness cards to add to your Amazoness monsters from Gold Series 3.

Join the Duelist Revolution and take your Deck in brand new directions!" Jaguero92 01:11, May 23, 2010 (UTC)

Sneak Preview Participation Card[]

My thoughts are:

(Chaosflo44 17:06, May 23, 2010 (UTC))

I doubt the fact that they put a fusion card as a sneak preview card, as not many will have the materials for it. I expect some sort of fusion material monster, or a special version of already existing Polymerization cards, considering this deck is a rebuff for fusion cards.

I was thinking it would be a Beast-Warrior Type, may be a Phantom Beast, that requires a Synchro Beast (which there are three of in this and two more in HA2) and a Warrior. However, my brother (who's trying to run a Phantom Beast deck), said that Beast-Warrior decks generally don't run either. Though a new Amazoness or a Scrap Support seem more likely. --Azure Knight-Zeo 05:03, June 2, 2010 (UTC)

Genex Cards?[]

Can we be expecting to see any new ones in this set?

Hero Cards?[]

More than likely they'll go the route of Absolute Powerforce and print random Game Guide cards and HOPEFULLY not be lazy like they were with The Shining Darkness and just reprint cards from Duel Terminal because hopefully i wasn't the only one irritated by that. Optimistically, Hero cards? i mean in a somewhat fusion based set wouldn't it be the most sensible to add Parallel World Fusion and maybe print out Elemental Hero The Flash since they printed out almost every other card from the set he was in? http://yugioh.wikia.com/wiki/Jump_Festa_2010_-_Special_Card_Pack. Heck i would be happy if they printed out that beast fusion in there. But since they didn't post a Premium Pack 3 yet, where else would all the new cards come out in?

Maybe the V-Jump and Limited Edition packs?

Sources?[]

Would it kill you people to provide sources? I can't find anywhere that it says Lancer Lindwurm will be in DREV. And I can't find anything that says Pot of Duality is going to be a common. It'll probably end up being a Secret Rare, if anything, since it's a useful card and was a Super Rare in the OCG. You guys know what they did to Battle Fader...

Asakaya (talkcontribs) 15:11, June 26, 2010 (UTC)

The only thing i'm sure of is that Alligator's Sword and Alligator's Sword Dragon are gonna be in this pack because the description of the pack involves cards that were used by Joey Wheeler, and those are the only two cards that Joey has used but are not in english yet. It'll be interesting to see if Scrap Monsters or if Amazoness Monsters get a TCG exclusive support card. 108.13.113.64 (talk) 10:34, June 29, 2010 (UTC)

Where did Ash Gale and the two "X-Saber" monsters come from? --Narutoheroes12 (talkcontribs) 23:03, July 8, 2010 (UTC)

Ash Gash was in VJump, the japanese shonen jump magazine basically, and if you're referring to Palomuro and Pashuul from The Shining Darkness, in here and japan they were in DT02, Duel Terminal 02. 108.13.113.64 (talk) 08:42, July 9, 2010 (UTC)

Fabled Raven[]

Does anyone have ideas about the rarity of Fabled Raven? I expect it to be secret as it is number ninety something. Its the one card in this set that I am extremely interested in. IonCharge (talkcontribs) 07:03, July 15, 2010 (UTC)

From what I've seen, it's a 'most-talked about card', so it'll be like Infernity Destroyer and Genex Neutron; Secret Rare. Raining Stars (talkcontribs) 14:48, August 2, 2010 (UTC)User:Raining Stars

Confirmed[]

Some of the TCG names have already been confirmed here: http://shriektcg.twoday.net/stories/6348012/ -- HHTurtle  (Talk) 12:37, July 21, 2010 (UTC)

and I just found some here [2].
Well... now that the page is deleted. The page can be moved now. So it worked out. -Falzar FZ- (talk page|useful stuff) 12:47, July 21, 2010 (UTC)

Reprints[]

So is this going to be a common thing now? Where random cards from Duel Terminal 01 are going to be reprinted because of lack of accessibility? The Shining Darkness was pretty bad for this because we had 8 reprints from Duel Terminal, and we can potentially have 7 reprints if they don't announce any more new cards. I'd prefer to see more cards from Japan translated into English like Alligator's Sword for example, but I'm not part of Konami haha.Legend562 (talkcontribs) 21:14, July 30, 2010 (UTC)

According to Konami, a Duel Terminal card is released twice because when it has it's first release from a terminal it s not tornament legal, so they have to reprint it as OCG exclusives and in the Hidden Arsenal sets. 65.78.14.163 (talk) 01:07, August 2, 2010 (UTC)

that sucks... so basically, this is going to go on for a few more sets? i mean it would be nice if they only did 5 reprints a set, because there are only 15 duel terminal cards to reprint from Duel Terminal01, 13 if you already count Flamvell Archer and Poun, because all of the cards from Duel Terminal 02 have been printed in Hidden Arsenal 2, so.. maybe 3 more for this set, 5 more for Starstrike Blast, and 5 more for the set after? or you think they'll just go 7 reprints for Revolution, then 8 for Starstrike? Legend562 (talkcontribs) 07:17, August 3, 2010 (UTC)

Sneak Peekers, start your scanners[]

I'm working on some now. Zeroblizzard (talkcontribs) 23:42, August 7, 2010 (UTC)Zeroblizzard

Could someone or somebody's bot go in and make the and CARDS IN THE DUELIST REVOLUTION SET and gallery pages have the appropriate formatting so that all we have to do is scan in the cards with the correct names and change their article's pages?[]

By golly, that's the longest title I've ever made. Zeroblizzard (talkcontribs) 00:44, August 8, 2010 (UTC)Zeroblizzard
