[edit] Token Targeting

I've just now thought of this last night when I was thinking of a new deck idea. it involves the typical situation; the unwary opponent regrettingly attacking me head on. I take about the average 1800-2400 ATP and the Token comes out. now I know the token has high attack from the battle of the turn before, but I need to know if I can swap the token for the opponents monster? because it doesn't specifically state whether or not "This token cannot be used for any tributes" etc. I just need clarification is all Bloodabeast 15:37, 9 June 2009 (UTC)

Tokens cannot be used as tributes for summons (unless stated otherwise on the card used to summon them. idk of any that allow it) but they do count as monsters, so you can swap them w/ Creature Swap and use them for other non-tribute summon tributes. such as, Share the Pain, Horn of Heaven, etc. —This unsigned comment was made by RyuSenshi (talkcontribs) on 12:55, 17 July 2009 (UTC).

Other way around. Tokens can be used as Tributes for Tribute Summons, unless stated otherwise on the card that Summons them. (e.g. "Scapegoat") -- Deltaneos (talk) 13:56, 17 July 2009 (UTC)

[edit] creature swap

Can creature swap be used even if you do not have a monster on your side of the field?, or if you have a monster and you opponent does not have one? is that against the rules.

  • No, both you and your opponent must control at least 1 monster each (and both monsters must be effected by spells and can switch sides)~MEOW~ Might of the BIRD Empire~~ 13:58, 23 July 2009 (UTC)

[edit] Team Dueling

In a team duel, do all 4 players swap, if then in what order, else do both sides select 1 monster, or do you just target one opponet
