From Yu-Gi-Oh!

[edit] "...cards you control..."

Do "cards I control" include just my Monster cards, or does it include Spell and Trap cards as well? Like, if I use Light and Darkness Dragon's third effect "When this card is destroyed and sent to the Graveyard, select 1 monster in your Graveyard. Then destroy all cards you control, and Special Summon that monster.", does it destroy all the cards on my side of the field, or just my Monster cards? -- Melik el-Al'ab 12:48, 28 September 2008 (UTC)

All cards you have on your side of the field, Monsters, Spells, Traps, everything, are "cards you control." There are instances where it might just say "all Monsters you control" where it will specify just the Monsters. Speedball 12:54, 28 September 2008 (UTC)

  • Edit: Also, it includes cards on your side of the field that are owned by the opponent, that you've temporarily gotten control of. Anyway, to answer your question, Light and Darkness Dragon would make everything on your side of the field explode. That's why LaDD is a double-edged sword...powerful, but risky! Heh heh. • Because LaDD destroys everything and leaves you with one monster, you can use Gorz efficiently when the monster dies. Gemini69 09:50, 5 January 2009 (UTC)

I think this page should mention some cards that bring control of your cards to your opponent i.e. Shien's Spy. It might be helpful to people that use Allure Queens, for instance. Gemini69 09:48, 5 January 2009 (UTC)

Do cards in your hand count as cards you control? 134.193.146.86 20:06, 23 February 2009 (UTC)
