Talk:Blue-Eyes Deck
From Yu-Gi-Oh!
King of the Swamp, Blue-Eyes White Dragon, Ancient Rules, Paladin of White Dragon & that Ritual Spell card that goes with it + Blue-Eyes Shining Dragon. How do I get my hands on a Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon so that I can a cross between a Blue Eyes Deck & a Theinen the Great Sphinx Deck. - Have you ever managed to summon Blue-Eyes Shining Dragon? Could you give me some hints? Thank you. LeviLeviathan 22:32, 21 February 2009 (UTC)
- I have. I know one easy way is to have 3 The White Stone of Legends, Future Fusion, 3 Blue-Eyes White Dragons (duh), Ultimate and Shining, Polymerization (possibly also have King of the Swamp), Five-Headed Dragon (in the Extra Deck) and at least 2 other Dragons. Play Future Fusion for Five-Headed, send 3 White Stones and the other 2 Dragons, add the 3 BEWDs to your hand (due to White Stone). Then if you have Poly, play it, otherwise activate King of the Swamp to get Poly, then Play it. Get Ultimate and tribute it for Shining (Bonus: Because of the Stones, BEWDs, Ultimate and the 2 random dragons, Shining will have 5700 ATK). - I summon him pretty much. The trick is to get him (=Blue-Eyes Shining Dragon) in your graveyard. You only need a BEUD to get him. I have Future Fusion and Dragon's Mirror, so that isn't much of a problem. I haven't summon my Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon (=BEUD) with Polymerization, so I don't need him in my Deck. But the other way, from above, is also nice. User:Jupitus 10:12, May 4 2009
[edit] Blue-Eyes White Dragon OHKO
Someone should mention this simple OHKO strategy for Blue-Eyes White Dragon. It involves these cards:
- 3 Blue-Eyes White Dragons
- Polymerization
- Future Fusion (if it takes too long to draw the Fusion Material for Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon)
- Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon
- De-Fusion
Here's how it works, if you didn't watch Yugi's duel with Noah:
- First, play Polymerization and fuse the 3 Blue-Eyes White Dragons into Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon.
- Attack with Ultimate Dragon
- Next, use De-Fusion to return Ultimate Dragon to the Extra Deck and re-summon your 3 Dragons from the Graveyard and attack with all 3.
- (or, you can skip the Attack with Ultimate Dragon and instead use De-Fusion to re-summon the 3 Dragons from the Graveyard so you can use Delta Attacker to attack directly.)
It usually works when and if your opponent cannot hinder your combo with card effects, but regardless of the Battle Position of your opponent's monster, it's still a OHKO.

[edit] Deletion Solution
I don't think this article should be deleted as much as it should be moved. Maybe a better place for this would be on the Dragon Deck page? There are many kinds of different decks posted there, and this one would fit just fine in my opinion. --Sky Scourge God 04:33, September 17, 2009 (UTC)
- Dragon Deck really has the same problem as this page. I'd be more in favour of merging it to Blue-Eyes. -- Deltaneos (talk) 09:59, September 17, 2009 (UTC)
