Is it possible to actually summon an Accel Synchro during your opponents turn? Like in real life? --Sapphire 09:34, May 27, 2010 (UTC)

Well is just a normal synchro summon in real life however apparently it can be done accroding and if the text on Formula Synchron is true. DracoX 15:47, May 27, 2010 (UTC)

Yes, Formula Synchron clearly states that a Synchro Summon can be performed with that card during your opponent's Main Phase. Note also that that card does not say "Accel Synchro Summon", meaning that any monster with a non-specific Tuner requirement should be a valid summoning target, provided the levels are correct.

Essentially, having Formula Synchron on the field simply allows you to Synchro Summon much like Urgent Tuning does, only not within the Battle Phase.

Accel to Cosmic[]

I don't like it either, but either KDE or 4Kids decided it will be Cosmic Synchro for the worldwide audience (clearly not an translation issue). Proof is the Konami booth at the 2010 San Diego Comic-Con: Starstrike Blast Box at Konami - SDCC 2010 ShinobiPhoenix (talkcontribs) 18:02, July 29, 2010 (UTC)

"Cosmic" might just be used as a descriptor, since there's only one actual Accel Synchro. Both Shooting Star Dragon and Red Nova Dragon have space-related names. So using "cosmic" to describe the monsters might make more sense, and they might actually keep the Accel Synchro name. QuartrGuy (talkcontribs) 17:08, July 30, 2010 (UTC)

I think this page's name should be returned to "Accel Synchro Summon".

There is only one Synchro Monster in Starstrike Blast that requires a Synchro Tuner, that is Shooting Star Dragon (An "Accel Synchro" monster.)

The sticker on the booster box in the picture provided says "Cosmic Synchro Monsters", plural.

Unless Red Nova Dragon is treated as an Accel Synchro Monster (which it isn't), it is most likely that "Cosmic Synchro Monsters" refers to Shooting Star Dragon and Red Nova Dragon's relation to outer space and not a name change for Accel Synchro.

Someone change the name.

Yes, the "Cosmic" in the mock box refers to Shooting Star Dragon and Red Nova Dragon and not Accel Synchros. Kevin Tewart pretty much confirms this in this thread: http://www.pojo.biz/board/showthread.php?t=864182&page=3 Now please change it back to Accel Synchro before it confuses more people or until we get word that Accel Synchro is actually beign changed to something else. 69.151.157.196 (talk) 22:07, July 30, 2010 (UTC)

    • Taking liberties are we? He didn't confirm anything with that. If you want to be honest, this just means there should be TWO pages. Cosmic talking about Shooting and Red Nova and Acceleration Synchro (not Accel, which is only Japanese). So we wouldn't be moving it back to Accel Synchro, we would have to copy what is on the current page to a entirely new page called " Acceleration Synchro " AND rewrite the current page to be referring to only the Cosmic Synchros, Shooting and Red Nova. Just moving it back is incorrect, it's more complicated than that. ShinobiPhoenix (talkcontribs) 22:26, July 30, 2010 (UTC)
Not true. The page "Cosmic Synchro Monsters" would be the same as the page for the "Majestic Monsters". It's an archetype, not a new type of monster. The Accel Synchro page should be moved to Acceleration Synchro, but a new page should be created for the "Cosmic Synchro Monsters". DemonGodAsura (talkcontribs) 05:37, July 31, 2010 (UTC)
  • So who are you talking to there? Me or him? Seeing as I just said the exact same thing. That there should be two pages, one for Acceleration Synchro Summon (copy what is in this page into that one and do some simple copy-replacing of words) and one for Cosmic Synchro (writing a new article INTO the current Cosmic Synchro Monster page). There's obviously no need to create a page that already exists. This page would go to Acceleration Synchro Summon. I do think we should wait until someone post ACTUAL proof of this (not a post on Pojo merely talking about it), before we do the move, it's been annoying enough already rewriting the others to this. Seriously genius, Acceleration!? I guess that's why they call Synchro Monsters, Synchronization Monsters, which they don't! Master D (talkcontribs) 17:28, August 12, 2010 (UTC)
