A Staple is a card that is considered so important that it is included in almost any Deck the owner chooses to construct.
Opinions on what exactly constitutes a Staple card often comes down to the individual.
The defining characteristic of a distinguished staple card is, by its playability, Splashable.
Below is a list of cards that many consider staples (although some could be considered semi-staples.)
Advanced Format

Other cards, such as "Swords of Revealing Light", "Scapegoat", and similar cards are Semi-Staples, where they can be good in any deck, but not always chosen.
