Spencer, known as Taichi in the Japanese version, is a character appearing in the Yu-Gi-Oh! ZEXAL anime. He is Yuma's classmate and was a participant in the World Duel Carnival preliminaries^[1]. He usually ends up being fooled by Flip's schemes.

BiographyEdit

Flip asked him to help use his tricky plans against Yuma, since anything always foiled him. He then sends Yuma the "Baby Tiragon" card disguised as a letter from a girl, in order to help Flip trick Yuma when they Dueled ^[2].

Then, during the World Duel Carnival, Flip, who slept trough the first day of the preliminaries, cheated Spencer, stealing his Heart Pieces, along with other participants' by trading fake candy Heart Pieces to them. Spencer then met Yuma and told him what Flip was doing, causing Yuma to go after him ^[1].

One day at school after the WDC, Gilag grabbed him by his collar and demanded to know who Daisuke Katagiri was.^[3]

During the school's cultural festival, Spencer was again scammed by Flip.^[4]
