A Skilless Village Deck focuses on preventing the opponent from using Spell Cards, and monster effects, through the use of "Secret Village of the Spellcasters" and "Skill Drain". Powerful Level 4 Spellcaster-Type monsters, such as "Skilled Dark Magician", "Crusader of Endymion" and the Familiar Possessed Monsters, are used in conjunction with this strategy as beatsticks.

There are many variations and builds of Skilless Village Decks, each with a slightly different approach at defeating the opponent.

Regular Skilless VillageEdit

The most common type of Skilless Village Deck focuses on Summoning at least one Spellcaster-Type monster, and protecting it until "Secret Village of the Spellcasters" or "Skill Drain" is on the field.

Holy VillageEdit

A Holy Village Deck is a LIGHT-based Skilless Village Deck that focuses on powerful Spellcaster-Type LIGHT monsters such as "Crusader of Endymion" and "Herald of Creation". It integrates LIGHT support cards such as "Honest" and "Beckoning Light", as well as cards that increase the ATK of the players' monsters and decrease the ATK of the opponent's monsters ATK (i.e. "Rising Energy" and "Shrink").

Infected VillageEdit

An Infected Village Deck, uses high ATK DARK Spellcaster-Type monsters, as well as DARK support cards, like "Eradicator Epidemic Virus" and "Deck Devastation Virus". The main focus of this kind of deck is not only preventing the opponent from using Spell Cards and monster effects; this deck also uses "Eradicator Epidemic Virus" to destroy all of the opponent's Traps for 3 turns.

Chaos VillageEdit

A Chaos Village Deck uses high-ATK Level 4 LIGHT and DARK Spellcasters along with "Chaos Sorcerer". The deck mainly focuses on gathering LIGHT and DARK Spellcasters in the Graveyard in order to quickly summon "Chaos Sorcerer" OR activate "Solidarity", while at the same time locking down the opponent's Spells and monster card effects.
