The "Royal" series is comprised of Trap Cards that deal with negating the effects of other cards or restricting effects.

While not truly part of this series, another group of cards that have nothing to do with these effects (like Huge Revolution (series) or Rock Bombardment) could also be considered part of the group simply because they follow the same storyline. Keep in mind people usually don't refer to those cards when talking about "Royal" card".

Playstyle Edit

It is very difficult, if not impossible, to make a Deck of these cards. However, these all can help many different kinds of Decks, as they all have effects rooted in Anti-Meta.

Storyline Edit

These cards all depict an Emperor and his castle or revolutionaries trying to overthrow the Emperor. It's worth noticing that the Emperor is called "Tyrant" on later trap cards, implying that he probably started to behave as such. That would explain his later actions and the need for a revolution. Some of these cards are references to "The Emperor's New Clothes".

The storyline may go something like this:

Ceasefire and Forced Ceasefire figure into the storyline as well, along with Prohibition.
