Four new students in duel academy (Jim, Axel, Jesse and Adrian) sets the scene for a new adventure. Also a new teacher called Professor Viper has a plan to use Yubel to get his son back. Jesse's deck, the Crystal Beasts, needs one more card called Rainbow Dragon which is then needed to save them from a different dimension. In the process, Jesse gets trapped in the alternate dimension.
