The Pro League is a circle of the highest ranking duelists in the world. It is the goal of many Duel Academy students to one day compete in the Pro League.

The Pro League has a ranking system, though how it works is never divulged. At the time of the Genex Tournament, the 8th, 9th and 10th ranked duelists in the league are Maitre' D, Elroy Prescot and Mathmatica, respectively. In addition, it is mentioned earlier that Howard X Miller is ranked higher than Aster Phoenix, although the numerical ranks that they hold are not mentioned. In the anime, The D has been the champion for more then 10 years, while in the manga the current champion is Koyo Hibiki.

In Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's, there are many professional leagues for Turbo Dueling around the world (Ride Ace, IFS Duel League, Shingon League...).
