Priest Mahad and Bandit King Bakura faced each other in a ka battle, in the Yu-Gi-Oh! anime.
During the battle, Mahad gave his life and merged with his ka, the Illusion Magician to become the Dark Magician. Despite Mahad winning, Bakura managed to survive and steal the Millennium Ring.
