Magician's Force

Magician's Force (MFC) was the eighth English booster pack in the Yu-Gi-Oh! Trading Card Game. It is comprised of the Japanese sets Advent of Union and Champion of Black Magicians. It contains a new set of cards called Union monsters, with the ability to combine and strengthen other monsters, along with plenty of Spellcaster Monsters, and Spellcaster-support cards. Also, it contains an archtype known as "Amazoness" Monsters. Finally, it introduced the "Spell Counter" mechanic in which certain cards could only be played by removing a number of "spell counters" which are usually acquired by playing Spell cards. This set is notable as it is the first set to mark the change of Magic cards to Spell cards. Highly sought after cards include Breaker the Magical Warrior, Tribe-Infecting Virus, Magical Scientist and Chaos Command Magician. It contains 2 Secret Rares, 10 Ultra Rares, 10 Super Rares, 17 Rares, and 69 Common cards. Depicted on the cover is Dark Paladin.
