  • It appears in the opening, FREEDOM, behind Primo, signifying it being his card.
  • This monster also appears in the opening, BELIEVE IN NEXUS, where Primo summons his ace card.

Pre-World Racing Grand Prix[]

  • In episode 65, Primo obtained this monster and its different parts from a stone tablet that Z-one sent down to New Domino City. Primo then decided to test his Meklord Emperor by using it and a Deck he created with a Duelbot named Ghost. Ghost would use this Deck to cause other Turbo Duelists to crash, which Yusei and his friends soon find out. Later Ghost uses this card during his Turbo Duel against Tetsu Trudge. He Special Summons this card, "Wisel Top", "Wisel Attack", "Wisel Guard", and "Wisel Carrier" via the effect of "Wise Core". This card's ATK then became equal to the combined ATK of the other Wisel parts due to its effect. Ghost then activates this card's effect to equip itself with Trudge's "Goyo Guardian" and increase its ATK by the ATK of "Goyo Guardian". This card then attacks directly, winning Ghost the Duel.
  • In episode 65, Ghost uses this card during his Turbo Duel against Yusei Fudo. He Special Summons this card, "Wisel Top", "Wisel Attack", "Wisel Guard", and "Wisel Carrier" via the effect of "Wise Core". This card's ATK then became equal to the combined ATK of the other Wisel parts due to its effect. In the next episode, this card attacks and destroys "Max Warrior" (whose ATK was 800 due to "Labyrinth of Kline"), but Yusei activates "Shock Reborn" to halve the Battle Damage he takes and Special Summon "Turbo Booster" from his Graveyard. Later "Stardust Dragon" (Whose ATK was 2800 due to "Meteor Wave") attacks this card, but Ghost uses the effect of "Wisel Guard" to redirect the attack to "Wisel Guard", destroying it. "Stardust Dragon" inflicts piercing damage to Ghost due to "Meteor Wave". Ghost then summons "Wisel Guard 3" to replace "Wisel Guard". Ghost then activates this card's effect to equip itself with "Stardust Dragon" and increase its ATK by the ATK of "Stardust Dragon". This card then attacks directly, but Yusei activates "Scrap-Iron Scarecrow" to negate the attack. After that resolves, "Scrap-Iron Scarecrow" resets itself face-down. On Ghost's next turn, he activates "Wise A3" to send "Wisel Attack" to the Graveyard and Special Summon "Wisel Attack 3", making this card's ATK 5400 as well as granting this card the ability to inflict piercing damage. This card then attacks "Bicular", but Yusei activates "Scrap-Iron Scarecrow" to negate the attack. After that resolves, "Scrap-Iron Scarecrow" resets itself face-down. Ghost then activates "Battle Return" to halve this card's ATK until the end of the Battle Phase and allow it to attack again this turn. This card then attacks and destroys "Bicular". This card then inflicts piercing damage to Yusei. Yusei then activates the effect of "Bicular" to Special Summon "Unicycular". At the end of Ghost's Battle Phase, the effect of "Battle Return" expires. On the last turn of the Duel, Yusei activates "Synchro Material" to allow himself to use "Stardust Dragon" as a Synchro Material Monster for a Synchro Summon. Yusei then tunes "Stardust Dragon" and Unicycular" with "Majestic Dragon" in order to Synchro Summon "Majestic Star Dragon". This action decreases this card's ATK to 2900. Yusei then activates the effect of "Majestic Star Dragon" to negate the effects of "Wisel Guard 3" and grant those effects to "Majestic Star Dragon" until the End Phase. "Majestic Star Dragon" then attacks and destroys "Wisel Top", winning Yusei the Duel. Ghost crashes off the highway afterwards. After finding the Ghost Duelbot in a forest, Primo takes away the Deck Ghost was using and leaves since he was using Ghost as a test subject for his Meklord Emperor.
  • In episode 73, this card appeared in Yusei Fudo's nightmare which involved a Turbo Duel between himself and an unknown opponent. Right after Yusei summons "Stardust Dragon", his opponent transforms into Ghost while "Tiger Dragon" is replaced with this card and its Wisel parts. This card's ATK then became equal to the combined ATK of the other Wisel parts due to its effect. Ghost then activates this card's effect to equip itself with "Stardust Dragon" and increase this card's ATK by the ATK of "Stardust Dragon". Yusei shouts in anguish as his monster is absorbed. He is however cut off by Sherry, who asks Yusei that isn't dueling by the edge the kind of dueling he enjoys. She then states he will find his goal if they battle together. Right after "Stardust Dragon" gets fully absorbed by this card, Yusei wakes up from his nightmare. Primo later uses this card during his Turbo Duel against Dobocle after he gatecrashed the WRGP premiere event and escaped Sector Security. Primo then attacks Dobocle relentlessly with this card despite his pleas for mercy. Primo then won the Duel with this card through unknown means and caused Dobocle to crash.
    • This card also appears in a flashback Crow has when Yusei reminds him about the former's Turbo Duel against Ghost and this card's ability to absorb Synchro Monsters.
    • This card also appears in a flashback Yusei has when he notes to himself that he was lucky that "Majestic Dragon" saved him from losing.
  • In episode 74, this card appears in a flashback Yusei has when he wonders to himself if there is a new strategy that can defeat this card.
    • This card also appears in a flashback that Yusei has when he questions himself if consecutive attacks by two Synchro Monsters could still defeat this card.
    • This card also appears in a flashback Primo has when he recognizes Yusei as the one that defeated Ghost.
  • In episode 79, this card appears in a flashback Yusei has when he notes that he won't be able to defeat Ghost and this card if he can't move at an incredibly fast speed that would allow him to Accel Synchro Summon.

World Racing Grand Prix[]

  • In episode 103, this card appears in a flashback Yusei has when he learns that Iliaster and Ghost are connected to one another.
    • This card also appears in a flashback Yusei has when he notes if Sherry is correct and the people controlling the Meklords appear again, then he must overcome his limits as he hasn't done so yet as Accel Synchro Summon will defeat the Meklords.
  • In episode 107, Primo uses this card during his Turbo Duel against Vizor. He Special Summons this card, "Wisel Top", "Wisel Attack", "Wisel Guard", and "Wisel Carrier" via the effect of "Wise Core". This card's ATK then became equal to the combined ATK of the other Wisel parts due to its effect. This card then attacks and destroys "T.G. Rush Rhino". Vizor then activates the final effect of "T.G. Rush Rhino" to add another "T.G. Rush Rhino" from his Deck to his hand. Later Yusei (who has just gained a new power) arrives and Primo drops out to Duel Yusei while Vizor goes off to Duel the Diablo army and prevent them from interfering with Yusei's Duel.
  • In episode 108, Primo uses this card during his Turbo Duel against Yusei. After Yusei Synchro Summons "Junk Destroyer", he activates the latter's effect to destroy this card and Primo's set card (because without this card, the other parts will be destroyed), but Primo activates "Divergence" to redirect the effect of "Junk Destroyer" from this card to "Wisel Carrier" instead. Since the "Wisel Carrier" can't be destroyed by Yusei's card effects, only "Divergence" is destroyed. "Junk Destroyer" then attacks this card, but Primo uses the effect of "Wisel Guard" to redirect the attack to it instead, destroying it. "Junk Destroyer" then inflicts piercing damage to Primo as "Needle Soldier" was used for its Synchro Summon. After Primo Normal Summons "Wisel Guard 3", he activates this card's effect to equip "Junk Destroyer" to itself, but Yusei activates "Star Shift" to return "Junk Destroyer" to the Extra Deck and Special Summon "Stardust Dragon" from his Extra Deck. Since "Junk Destroyer" has been removed from the field, this card's effect is negated as it has lost its original target. On Primo's next turn, he activates "Explosive Blast" to destroy "Wisel Carrier" and inflict 400 damage to Yusei (this also causes this card's ATK to decrease to 1700). Primo then Normal Summons "Skiel Carrier 3" (which makes this card's ATK 2300). He then Tributes "Skiel Carrier 3" in order to Special Summon "Skiel Carrier 5" (which makes this card's ATK 2500). This card then attacks and destroys "Bicular". The second effect of "Skiel Carrier 5" then inflicts 300 damage to Yusei. Later "Stardust Dragon" attacks this card, but Primo activates the first effect of "Skiel Carrier 5" to negate the attack. On Primo's next turn, he activates this card's effect to equip "Stardust Dragon" to it and increase its ATK by the ATK of "Stardust Dragon". In the next episode, Primo activates "Wise A3" to send "Wisel Attack" to the Graveyard and Special Summon "Wisel Attack 3" in its place, making its ATK 5400 and granting it the ability to inflict piercing damage. This card then attacks "Formula Synchron", but Yusei activates "D2 Shield" to double the DEF of "Formula Synchron". This card then destroys "Formula Synchron" and inflicts piercing damage to Yusei. The secondary effect of "Skiel Carrier 5" then activates, inflicting 300 damage to Yusei. On Primo's next turn, he activates "Wise T3" to send "Wisel Top" to the Graveyard and Special Summon "Wisel Top 3" in its place (which makes its ATK 5500). This card then attacks "Necro Linker", but Yusei activates "Scrap-Iron Scarecrow" to negate the attack, however the effect of "Wisel Top 3" negates the effect of "Scrap-Iron Scarecrow" and destroys it. Yusei then discards "Arbitrator" to end the Battle Phase. Later "Rescue Warrior" attacks this card. This card then destroys "Rescue Warrior", but Yusei takes no Battle Damage due to the first effect of "Rescue Warrior". The second effect of "Skiel Carrier 5" then inflicts 300 damage to Yusei. Yusei then activates the second effect of "Rescue Warrior" to regain control of "Stardust Dragon". This reduces this card's ATK to 3000. Later Primo activates the effect of "Meklord Emperor Wisel" to equip itself with "Stardust Dragon", but Yusei performs an Accel Synchro Summon by tuning "Stardust Dragon" with "Formula Synchron". This time Yusei succeeds in achieving Clear Mind and he Accel Synchro Summons "Shooting Star Dragon". Since "Stardust Dragon" has left the field, this card's effect is negated as it has lost its original target. In the following episode, "Shooting Star Dragon" attacks this card, but Primo activates the first effect of "Skiel Carrier 5" to negate the attack. "Shooting Star Dragon" then attacks this card, but Primo uses the first effect of "Wisel Guard 3" to redirect the attack to itself. Due to the second effect of "Wisel Guard 3", it isn't destroyed. This card remained on the field until the Duel was over.
    • In the first above-mentioned episode, this card is shown in a flashback Yusei has when he notes that the Synchro Monster absorbing power of the Meklord Emperors is a powerful ability, but if he can achieve Accel Synchro Summon, then he may be able to find what he needs to beat the Meklord Emperors for good.
    • In the second above-mentioned episode, this card is shown in a flashback Yusei has when he questions himself why he couldn't Accel Synchro Summon at earlier.

Ark Cradle[]

  • In episode 130, this card appears in a flashback Akiza Izinski has when she notes that the Meklords are Synchro killers due to the their ability to absorb Synchro Monsters.
  • In episode 132, Primo uses this card during his Turbo Duel against Jack Atlas. He Special Summons this card, "Wisel Top", "Wisel Attack", "Wisel Guard", and "Wisel Carrier" via the effect of "Wise Core". Due to this card's effect, its ATK became equal to the total ATK of the other Wisel parts. Primo then activates this card's effect to equip itself with "Red Nova Dragon", but Jack activates the third effect of "Red Nova Dragon" to banish it until the End Phase and allow Jack to negate one attack. Primo then activates "Infinity Barrage" to inflict 2000 damage to Jack (400 damage for each monster Primo controls). Later "Red Nova Dragon" (whose ATK was 5500 due to its own effect) attacks this card, but Primo uses the effect of "Wisel Guard" to redirect the attack to "Wisel Guard" instead. Jack then activates "Burning Strike", equipping it to "Red Nova Dragon" and granting it the ability to inflict piercing damage. Primo then activates "Wise G3" to send "Wisel Guard" to the Graveyard and Special Summon "Wisel Guard 3" in its place. A replay occurs and Jack uses "Red Nova Dragon" to attack "Wisel Guard 3" instead. Due to the effect of "Wisel Guard 3", it is not destroyed, however "Red Nova Dragon" then inflicts piercing damage to Primo. "Infinite Aura" then gains thirty-five counters since Primo took 3500 damage. Primo then activates "Echo Mirror" to draw one card and reveal it. If it's a monster, Jack will take damage equal to the monster's Level times 300. The card is revealed to be "Wisel Attack 3", so Jack takes 900 damage (as "Wisel Attack 3" is a Level 3 monster). On Jack's next turn, he activates "Synchro Sonic" to destroy "Infinite Aura" (as he controls at least one Synchro Monster), however Primo activates "Infinity Guard Formation" to negate the effects of this card and its respective Wisel parts to negate the effect of "Synchro Sonic". "Red Nova Dragon" then attacks and destroys this card, winning Jack the Duel. "Infinite Aura" then gains five Aura Counters since Primo took 500 damage. Since this card has been removed from the field, the other Wisel parts are destroyed too. Primo then activates the effect of "Infinite Prison" to place "Wise Core" in his Spell & Trap Card Zone as a Spell Card by discarding "Wisel Attack 3". Primo then passes the baton to Jakob who proceeds in Dueling Jack.
  • In episode 146, Aporia uses this card during his Ground Duel against Z-one. He Special Summons this card, "Wisel Top", "Wisel Attack", Wisel Guard", and "Wisel Carrier" via the effect of "Wise Core". Due to this card's effect, its ATK became equal to the total ATK of the Wisel parts. This card then attacks directly, but Z-one activates "Empress's Staff" from his hand to negate the attack, end the Battle Phase, and inflict 500 damage to Aporia. Later "Metaion, the Timelord" attacks this card. Due to the first two effects of "Metaion", it is not destroyed and Z-one takes no Battle Damage. At the end of the Battle Phase, Z-one activates the third effect of "Metaion" to return all other monsters on the field to their owners' hands and inflict 300 damage to Aporia for each card returned. With five cards returned, Aporia takes 1500 damage.
  • In episode 147, this card appears in Crow's explanation when he explains to Leo that the Meklord Emperors can only be summoned while each of the Meklord Emperor's parts are in the Deck. Since Aporia was milling his Deck for a strategy he had thought out from the beginning of the Duel, Crow explains that it's a good thing that Aporia is using his monsters to help him reduce the number of cards in his Deck.
  • In episode 149, this monster appears in Z-one's backstory when he explains how he became Yusei and why he wanted to destroy Neo Domino City to change the future. This card is shown on Z-one's computer when he is shown looking up Yusei's history.

Machine Emperor Wisel

In the anime, while the four other "Wisel" cards were active, "Machine Emperor Wisel Infinity" and the other four components joined together. The combined form was called "Machine Emperor Wisel". This was not an actual card, but more so the in-game representation of "Infinity's" effect.
