Lockdown
A Lockdown is where one player has either partial or complete control of the playing field, leaving the opponent with few options to come back, and win, if they even exist at all. This can be done by either preventing certain cards from being played, certain areas of the field from being accessed, or even trapping the opponent in a non-progressive loop, forcing them to go through the same set of predetermined motions without any way of breaking and/or countering the loop.
