A lockdown is where one player has either partial or complete control of the playing field, leaving the opponent with few options to come back, and win, if they even exist at all. This can be done by either preventing certain cards from being played, certain areas of the field from being accessed, or even trapping the opponent in a non-progressive loop, forcing them to go through the same set of predetermined motions without any way of breaking and/or countering the loop.

- The Last Warrior Lockdown
- World Lock
- A (des wombat) (marshmallon or unhappy girl/ring of magnetism) (jinzo) (spell canceller) lock deck hasn't been created yet but it definitely would stop any or all damage incoming
- Future Lock (uses future visions and barrier statues to prevent opponent from summoning).
Traditional only Lockdowns:
