Kokurano known in as Fortuno in the english Dungeon Dice Monsters video game, is a self-proclaimed psychic in Class 1-A of Domino High School.
[edit] Biography
Kokurano predicted a fellow student's house would catch fire. The prediction came through 3 weeks later, causing Kokurano to become famous at school.
Kokurano sets-up a stand in a classroom, aided by a couple of female assistants, who strongly admire his alleged powers. At the stand, he offers predictions to other students. He tells the obese fangirl, that as long as she doesn't die, she will continue to live. Although the statement is meaningless, she is easily impressed. As he calls for the next in line, a mild earthquake occurs. Kokurano then produces a slip of paper, saying there would be an earthquake today, claiming to have predicted it this morning.
When Anzu comes for her prediction, Kokurano makes plans to seduce her. He tells her that she will see a wonderful man, already close to her, who she will fall so deeply in love with, she will swoon before him.
He gets upset when Yugi says he doesn't believe in psychics and tells Yugi that countless letters will fall from the heavens and bring disaster upon him.
When Yugi goes to the library, Kokurano knocks over the bookstands in his direction, but Yugi transforms into Dark Yugi and saves himself.
Kokurano meets Anzu afterwards and knocks her out with chloroform, which he intended to be the swoon before the wonderful man he predicted.
Dark Yugi catches up to Kokurano and challenges him to a game. In the manga, they must pull sheets of paper out from under the chloroform bottle, without letting it fall. Kokurano tries to use his powers to levitate the bottle, but ends up knocking himself out with it. In the anime, he loses a game involving many bottles falling down.
Kokurano is left lying on the floor with his cloak spread out, showing notes containing various possible future events, which Kokurano may pass off as predictions should they come true. Yugi carries Anzu away, leaving Kokurano to have his powers exposed as fake, before he wakes-up.
