Kisara is a mysterious woman with pale skin, light blue/white hair, and blue eyes. She carries the spirit of the "Blue-Eyes White Dragon" within her. She and Priest Seto share a deep bond, being close enough that she is able to release him from mind control easily. After Akhenaden pledged his loyalty to Zorc Necrophades, he sealed the Blue-Eyes in a stone tablet, along with Kisara's spirit. But she later used her dragon to destroy Aknadin and free Seto from his control. She then gave her power to him, making him the new keeper of the Blue-Eyes White Dragon. In the Manga, she is killed by Akhenaden right after. She is portrayed as being a gentle, pure and self sacrificing girl. She seems weak at first, but her inner strength is shown as it stems from her feelings for Seto.
Kazuki Takahashi had originally planned for the story to have further explored the relationship between Seto and Kisara, but in order to meet a deadline these details had to be cut.
