Kaoruko Himekuji being supported by the chairman of the student council, tries to win a beauty contest at her school. When she prevents Miho from going onto the final round by ripping her dress apart, Yugi gets angry at her and switches to Dark Yugi, who plays a Shadow Game with her.

After losing the Shadow Game, Kaoruko sees herself as an aged woman and also sees snakes begin to wrap around her wrists. Shortly after she is said to have withdrawn from the contest.

Her name is mentioned in Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Monsters GX later as being one of Trueman's victims.
