Yuya Sakaki and Yuri vs. Yugo and Yuto was a scripted Duel that took place during the Jump Victory Carnival 2017. Shinpei Takagi, Manpei Takagi and Kensho Ono reprised their roles as Yugo, Yuto and Yuya Sakaki/Yuri, respectively.
Featured Duel: Yuya Sakaki/Yuri vs. Yuto/Yugo[]
Turn 1: Yugo
Yugo Normal Summons "Speedroid Horse Stilts" (1100/1100), and as the latter was summoned, Yugo can Special Summon a Level 4 or lower monster. He selects "Speedroid Red-Eyed Dice" (100/100). As a monster has been Special Summoned to his field, Yugo Special Summons "Speedroid Rubberband Plane" (1800/0), but it restricts him to summoning only WIND monsters for the rest of the turn.
Yugo uses the Level 1 "Speedroid Red-Eyes Dice" and Level 5 "Rubberband Plane", Synchro Summoning "Hi-Speedroid Kendama" (2200/1600). Yugo activates its effect, banishing "Rubberband Plane" to inflict 500 LP damage to Yuya (Yuya: 4000 → 3500 LP). Yugo activates "Speed Recovery", letting him Special Summon "Red-Eyed Dice" from his Graveyard. In addition, he tunes the Level 1 "Red-Eyed Dice" with the Level 6 "Kendama", Synchro Summoning "Clear Wing Synchro Dragon" (2500/2000). At this point, Yugo uses the effect of "Kendama" to Special Summon it. Yugo sets a card.
Turn 2: Yuya
Yuya places "Purple Poison Magician" (PS: 1) and "Black Fang Magician" (PS: 8) in his Pendulum Zones, which lets him Pendulum Summon "Xiangke Magician" (2500/500) and "Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon" (2500/2000). Yuya activates the Pendulum Effect of "Black Fang Magician", destroying it to halve the ATK of "Clear Wing" ("Clear Wing Synchro Dragon": 2500 → 1250 ATK). As "Xiangke Magician" attacks "Clear Wing", Yugo activates "Follow Wing": his dragon is not destroyed by battle and Yugo takes no battle damage, yet Yuya's attacking monster is destroyed and "Clear Wing" gains ATK equal to the destroyed monster's ("Clear Wing Synchro Dragon": 1250 → 3750 ATK).
"Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon" attacks "Kendama", with battle damage doubled (Yugo and Yuto: 4000 → 3400 LP). Yuya sets a card, while the ATK of "Clear Wing" returns to normal ("Clear Wing": 3750 → 2500 ATK).
At this point, Yuto joins to Yugo's.
Turn 3: Yuto & Yugo
Yuto Normal Summons "The Phantom Knights of Fragile Armor" (1000/2000). As he controls a "Phantom Knights" monster, Yuto Special Summons "The Phantom Knights of Silent Boots" (200/1200). He sets a card, and because he has no Trap Cards in his Graveyard, he immediately activates it: "The Phantom Knights of Shade Brigandine", which is Special Summoned as a DARK Level 4 Warrior Normal Monster (0/300). Yuto uses the latter and "Fragile Armor" to Xyz Summon "Dark Rebellion Xyz Dragon" (2500/2000). Yuto detaches its two Overlay Units to halve the ATK of "Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon", and let "Dark Rebellion" gain that much ATK ("Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon": 2500 → 1250 ATK; "Dark Rebellion": 2500 → 3750 ATK).
Yuya activates his set card "Hippo Carnival" to Special Summon three EARTH Level 1 Beast "Hippo Tokens" (0/0), which also forces Yuto to attack "Hippo Tokens". "Clear Wing", "Dark Rebellion" and "Silent Boots" attack and destroy all three "Hippo Tokens". Yuto sets a card.
At this point, Yuri switches sides with Yuya.
Turn 4: Yuya/Yuri
Yuri Normal Summons "Predaplant Ophrys Scorpio" (1200/800). He sends a "Predaplant" monster from his hand to the Graveyard to Special Summon "Predaplant Darlingtonia Cobra" (1000/1500). As the latter was Special Summoned, Yuri adds "Polymerization" card from his Deck to his hand. Yuri activates "Polymerization", using "Ophrys Scorpio" and "Darlingtonia Cobra" to Fusion Summon "Predaplant Chimerafflesia" (2500/2000). Yuri activates its effect to banish "Clear Wing Synchro Dragon", however that monster's effect lets Yuto negate the activation of the effect of "Chimerafflesia" and destroy it, as well as to gain its ATK ("Clear Wing": 2500 → 5000 ATK).
Yuri activates "Predaponics", Special Summoning "Oprhys Scorpio". "Predaplant Oprhys Scorpio" attacks "The Phantom Knights of Silent Boots", to which Yuto activates the set "The Phantom Knights of Wrong Magnetring", which negates the attack and Special Summons the Trap Card as a DARK Level 1 Warrior Normal Monster (0/0). Yuri activates "Super Polymerization": by discarding a card, he uses Yuto's "Silent Boots" and his own "Ophrys Scorpio" to Fusion Summon "Starving Venom Fusion Dragon" (2800/2000). Upon being Fusion Summoned, "Starving Venom" gains the ATK of one Special Summoned monster. Yuri targets "Clear Wing" ("Starving Venom": 2800 → 7800 ATK). "Starving Venom" attacks "Wrong Magnetring" (Yuto & Yugo: 3400 → 0 LP).
