Jesse Wheeler is an alleged non-canon cousin of Joey and Serenity Wheeler, only mentioned in the English Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's anime. He has a criminal mark.

While dueling someone at Daimon Area, he defeats their "Giant Orc" with "Lycanthrope". After which he tells them to try harder, in the same voice as Joey. A spectator then calls out "Hey, is that Joey Wheeler?", to which another promptly replies, "No man, that's his cousin Jesse Wheeler".

"Jesse" did appear in the Japanese version, but was unnamed and unlikely to have been intended to be a relative of Joey Wheeler (known as Katsuya Jonouchi in this version). The English version added him due to the similarities in appearance between him and Joey Wheeler. It is likely that the English dubbers were making a joke, and that the spectator was being sarcastic.
