"Heraldic Beast" (
Playing style
Due to the current size of the series, the style remains to be seen, though many members seem to offer field control and/or banish themselves from the Graveyard to activate effects.
The archetype's few members appear to maintain consistency for efficient Xyz Summons; "Bernard's Falcon" makes all other monsters you control its Level, allowing an easy Rank 4 Xyz Summon. "Aberconway" adds itself to the hand by banishing a card of the same name, allowing to somewhat add hand consistency. "Heraldic Beast Eale" special summon itself from the hand, when controlling 2 or more Heraldic Beast monsters, allowing Rank 4 Xyz Summon that requires 3 materials. "Heraldic Beast Basilisk" can destroy an opponent's monster at the start of Damage Step, allowing to somewhat field control. "Heraldic Beast Twin-Head Eagle" banishes itself from your graveyard to attach 2 monsters as Xyz Materials from the graveyard to a "Heraldic" Xyz monster with no Xyz Materials; "Heraldic Beast Unicorn" also banishes itself to Special summon an Xyz monster from the graveyard and "Heraldic Beast Leo" banishes itself to weaken your opponent's monsters.
This archetype also has elements of control. "Number 8: Heraldic King Genome Heriter" can literally 'steal' an opponent's monster's name, as well as its effects and ATK.
