Heartland City is a city in a near future, where the main events of Yu-Gi-Oh! ZEXAL take place. The mayor of Heartland was Mr. Heartland, while its creator was Dr. Faker.^[1]

In several parts of it, it resembles New Domino City, especially the pier as several highways tower over it. By the river, there is a place that looks like the same sight where the Duel between Yami Yugi and Strings took place.

Heartland is the setting for the World Duel Carnival, which is set up to find all the "Number" cards and their holders.^[2]

In the center of Heartland City is Heartland, which is surrounded by a wall and contains Heartland Tower.
