Holographic Rare (ホログラフィックレア Horogurafikku Rea) is a rarity introduced in the OCG version of Tactical Evolution. It has silver lettering like a Secret Rare Card, with many colors removed from the card image, while the entire card is holographic. Usually, Cover Cards have this rarity, and currently, there are 25 Holographic Rare cards: "Rainbow Dragon", "Elemental HERO Chaos Neos", "Rainbow Neos", "Honest", "Stardust Dragon", "Black Rose Dragon", "Red Dragon Archfiend/Assault Mode", "Power Tool Dragon", "Ancient Fairy Dragon", "Majestic Star Dragon", "Majestic Red Dragon", "Black-Winged Dragon", "Dragon Knight Draco-Equiste", "Shooting Star Dragon", "Odin, Father of the Aesir", "Junk Berserker", "Number 17: Leviathan Dragon", "Galaxy-Eyes Photon Dragon", "Number C39: Utopia Ray, "Neo Galaxy-Eyes Photon Dragon", "Heroic Champion - Excalibur" "Number C32: Shark Drake Veiss", "Number 92: Heart-eartH Dragon", "Number 107: Galaxy-Eyes Tachyon Dragon" and "Number C39: Utopia Ray Victory". This is the OCG version of Ghost Rare.

The angle of the card changes the reflected color, just like a hologram.
