Fusion Substitute Monsters
From Yu-Gi-Oh!
Fusion-Substitute Monsters can be used as replacements for Specific Fusion-Material Monsters listed on a Fusion Monster, as long as the other monster(s) used are the correct one(s) for the Fusion Summon. The Fusion Substitute Monsters are used as direct replacements when using "Polymerization" and "Fusion Gate" for a Fusion Summon.
Fusion Substitutes cannot be used for:
- Fusion Monsters that can only be Special Summoned by removing the Fusion Material Monsters listed on it from your field (either removing them from play, as with the "VWXYZ" series), or by returning them to your Deck, as is the case with the "Elemental Hero Neos" and "Gladiator Beast" Fusion Monsters.
- Fusion Monsters that state they can only be Fusion Summoned with the exact combination of Fusion Material Monsters.Fusion Monsters with this condition states "A Fusion Summon of This card can only be conducted with the above Fusion Material Monsters "
- A Fusion Summon conducted with "Future Fusion"
- Also you must have the correct Fusion-Material Monsters You can only use one Fusion Substitution.
[edit] Fusion Substitute Monsters
- Versago the Destroyer
- Goddess with the Third Eye
- Mystical Sheep #1
- Beastking of the Swamps
- King of the Swamp
- The Earth - Hex-Sealed Fusion
- The Dark - Hex-Sealed Fusion
- The Light - Hex-Sealed Fusion
[edit] Regarding Elemental Hero Prisma
Elemental Hero Prisma is not considered a Fusion Substitute Monster as its effect makes the card no longer treated as Elemental Hero Prisma but as the the Monster you sent from your Deck to the Graveyard. So you are able to use Elemental Hero Prisma once you use the effect to Fusion Summon cards like Cyber End Dragon and Cyber Blader. This also means that you can use Prisma and a Fusion Substitute together to perform a fusion.
