I just bought some old Structure Decks to add to my collection and when I opened them , there was a card-sized white piece of paper that had a small butt with a symbol . The symbol had a cross on a hand , maybe it mean "Do not open" but I was curious and tore the butt open anyway , inside the butt were aluminum strips or something .
So what is the use of this white paper ? Do the aluminum strips contain some hazardous chemicals ? Daywithoutgames (talk • contribs) 05:40, August 26, 2015 (UTC)
- It would help if you could provide a picture of one of these. However, that sounds like the RFID tag included in Structure Decks as an anti-theft measure, in which case there aren't any hazardous chemicals inside the plastic (not that I would expect there to be anyways). 「ディノ奴千?!」? · ☎ Dinoguy1000 14:08, August 26, 2015 (UTC)
- Ah yes , I just googled with the keywords "Anti-theft system" and found this image : http://www.dansdata.com/images/blog/magneto-acoustic_tag1280.jpg . Maybe those decks come from a store/mall that practices opening decks , putting those security tags in , and then re-sealing the deck . Normally , the decks that I order online dont contain those tags so I was just wondering about their purpose .Daywithoutgames (talk • contribs) 16:47, August 26, 2015 (UTC)
