Yu-Gi-Oh! Wiki

I was having a discussion with an admin on another wikia about this, and they think you shouldn't remove comments off your talk page unless vandalism, spam etc, so they just suggest asking the community on your wikia what they think if it should be allowed or no. I think that's one of the most dumb things I've heard, you should have the right to remove what you want off your own talk page. What do you guys think should stay for yugioh wiki; users having the right to remove what they want off their own page (that ones for Yes), or only rudeness etc can be removed (that ones for no) and the rest can only be archived (which sounds pretty stupid to me. You shouldn't be forced to archive your page just to remove the comments)? Place your votes below. Shardsilver (talkcontribs) 19:08, January 7, 2014 (UTC)

Wikipedia's policies state that though archiving is preferred, a user may remove content from their own talk pages. By removing it you're acknowledging that you read it, so I don't see how there can be an issue. --Golden Key (talkcontribs) 19:31, January 7, 2014 (UTC)
I thought so. I gave the mod a good ouote from it and the talk page removal policy. Shardsilver (talkcontribs) 20:01, January 7, 2014 (UTC)
