THIS DECK I WILL BATTLE WITH
This deck I want to revolve around the egyptian god Slifer. Yes I know the card is illegal. But I have created terms with alot of people that don't mind the use of a god card. So I do notplan to go into tourtaments or anything with this. Its just a hey what the hell lets go with it and have some fun. So I don't know how I would make an effective deck for him.
Alright here I go
Monster wise I would like to keep everything...(except I really wanna change something with all the friggin limited monsters. Spells Need work try and help me with that. Traps I feel very content with. All thanks to FredTheCat for starting me of Well go ahead pick me apart Swordhunter16 (talk • contribs) 03:41, November 15, 2010 (UTC)
yhe said he wasnt gonna go to tourny therefore hes playing on traditional format.
This will be in traditonal format. Plus can someone help me out on better spell, and trap choices?
I realize that now and any help on monster slots I need a little help.
Oh, Traditional, Fun!
I think you ought to special summon and "steal" monsters as often as possible to get enough tributes
for your God Card...
For "Theft" there is: Snatch Steal , Change of Heart, Enemy Controller, and Brain Control
also if your God Card is considered a normal summon...
hmm even a special summon, this: Soul Exchange should help too.
Here are a few Special Summon choices that will help you "flood" the field faster with monsters:
Gravekeeper's Spy (use 3 of him), Cyber Dragon, The Tricky
Maybe use: Gorz the Emissary of Darkness ?
If you can take out your continuous traps... use him: Treeborn Frog
This might also be useful: Arcana Force 0 - The Fool , it is similar to Marshmallon (just set it!)
Oh yes, if you can use enough light and dark monsters, there is: Chaos Sorcerer !
I see you use: Revival Jam, that should work well I suppose.
But, these: Magical Reflect Slime, I'd ditch them.
You play enough traps.... ditch this too: Royal Decree.
I just thought of a "crazy" combo that I am remembering...
Play: Magical Scientist, then use his effect to get out: Thousand-Eyes Restrict!
It may help, it may not!
Yup, that's all from me!

Well I like the whole steal tributes ideas with the deck. Plus treeborn frog is a great card. I considered it in my first revision of the deck.
Plus I might consider the thousand eyes combo it looks pretty sweet

I made a Slifer deck that revolves around low level monsters. Human Wave Tactics helps a lot with keeping monsters on the field, and having low level monsters with high defense helps with that as well; and with more than 1 HWT out they swarm very well. Skull Lair helps to destroy whatever they bring to the field(with HWT fueling both your field and graveyard). It also gives itself to be a heavy synchro deck as well if I don't draw Slifer. Only problem is for it to work, it needs to be somewhat of a large deck to be able to fuel HWT and Skull Lair.
- PURE SLIFER DECK- Spells 10 Infinite Cards x2 Heart of the Underdog X2 Brain Control Change of Heart Soul Exchange Heavy Storm Mystical Space Typhoon Pot of Greed
Traps 10 Mirror Force Draining Shield x3 Magic Cylinder Royal Decree x3 Crush Card Virus Appropriate
Monsters 26 Slifer the Sky Dragon Marshmellon Spirit Reaper Cyber Dragon x2 Morphing Jar Sangan Destiny Hero- Defender x3 Reflect Bounder x3 Gemini Elf x3 Luster Dragon x3 Vorse Raider X3 Saggi the Dark Clown x2 Mechanicalchaser x2
Card Count 46
Try something like this. You have a few Effect monsters for support and to force your opponent to draw (to activate Appropriate - keep in mind you do not want to over draw) the rest of the monster are high powered normal monsters for stalling and to attack for the off chance you don't have slifer. Lastly your spell cards are meant for either drawing and stealing your opponents monsters for a force summon, Slifer cant be destroyed by Magic, Traps or Monster effects that designate him, but can be destroyed by Lightning Vortex or Torrential Tribute and etc card or he can be destroyed by an attack (if slifer has low attack , or opponent destroyed your hand) so Royal Decree is there as a truff card / Support when needed. I hope this helps
