Hello Everyone!
Absorption is currently defined in the TCG Glossary as: the ability to take control of a monster as an Equip Spell Card and, in some cases, take on its ATK and DEF values (though not all monsters with Absorption take control of a monster, eg Copycat.)
Copycat doesn't appear to "Absorb" in the traditional sense such as Dark Necrofear, TER, Relinquished...etc.
Copycat appears to "Mimic".
Mimic could be defined as a card that copies another card in either their ATK/DEF or Effects or Title, examples would be:
Neo-Spacian Dark Panther
Phantom of Chaos
Physical Double
Copycat
Proto-Cyber Dragon
Cyber Harpie Lady
1. What are your thoughts on changing some of the cards listed in the "Absorption" Glossary entry?
2. What are your thoughts on Entering a "Mimic" entry?
Thank you so much for a Great Site!

- I'm all for a redefinition.--TwoTailedFox (My Talk Page) 20:10, 3 October 2008 (UTC)
- I deleted the article Mimic (gaming term) as I saw it as being too vague, but in lieu of this discussion I've restored it. I still kinda feel the term is overly vague, though. I'm open to discussion as to how to define it. Danny Lilithborne 05:54, 4 October 2008 (UTC)
