So, I had originally made this a while back, but I had issues with drawing into Temperance, but Abyss Rising changed that, with a few new releases for Prophecy cards. It introduced Hanged Man of Prophecy, who lets me add a Level 3 "Prophecy" card from my deck to my hand, which means Temperance is now easier to get to hand! Plus, this lets me use 3 Apprentice Magician, not only is she a toolboxer, but she gives me access to Spellbook Magician and Hanged Man, which means the deck is more consistent! I might drop BLS if I find it has issues, but I have Apprentice and High Priestess for him, but I can drop him for something like Breaker the Magical Warrior. As for the Spellbooks, I might have gone overboard, and can probably drop Spellbook of Life to 1, but I like Spellbook Secrets at 3. ---Dark Ace SP (Talk) 01:24, July 4, 2012 (UTC)
Well with my experience with Magical/Prophecy, which isn't a lot... I think you should add some tech like Kycoo, or maybe drop BLS for 1 more Veiler. I think you should use 1 more Magician and probably take out 1 Justice. But if you are take down BLS take down 1 Justice as well because Justice is better at 2 on chaos builds. About the Spells, maybe take out 1 Maison to add 1 alma because Junon/Priestess. (God... Konami ruined the names...)--LaggiaWill Lag You(Talk) 02:11, July 4, 2012 (UTC)
Yeah I might do that. I can search out Maison really easily, so I don't need 3 of it. ---Dark Ace SP (Talk) 17:34, July 4, 2012 (UTC)
im no expert but why no srocier de fleur? that french magician really kicks butt--LaserGhost (talk • contribs) 19:04, July 4, 2012 (UTC)
I felt that High Priestess of Prophecy was all I needed, but I can tech her in, if I really want to. ---Dark Ace SP (Talk) 19:19, July 4, 2012 (UTC)
Yeah i used to run 1 Endymion and 2 Junon/Priestess, because he was a beater but then i noticed 3 Junon was better.
I wouldn't use Sorciere de Fleur - if summoned with Temperance of Prophecy, you can't use it to summon a high-level monster from your opponent's graveyard. Also, unlike Junon, it's always a dead card in hand.
Something I've found to work, on the other hand, is Chaos Sorcerer. It's searchable with Justice of Prophecy, and you can use Tour Guides and Sangan - plus some rank 3 LIGHT Xyz monsters - to summon them. Of course, Apprentice Magician could also be used for the DARK requirement.
One last thing - using Foolish Burial on Hanged Man of Prophecy fetches any level 3 Prophecy monster from your deck. Try it. Runer5h (talk • contribs) 20:24, July 4, 2012 (UTC)Runer5h
And to drop a Justice if I don't keep a Chaos Monsters.
Personally, I kinda want to forget the Chaos stuff for now, but I know that it can be useful, so for now, I'll think about it. Any more ideas? ---Dark Ace SP (Talk) 23:50, July 5, 2012 (UTC)
If you are going to drop a Justice, you might as well drop BLS. Maybe you want to add Kycoo (2x), it is good against Chaos/Chaos Dragons and etc. I think that's it.--LaggiaWill Lag You(Talk) 23:54, July 5, 2012 (UTC)
There, edited. So, anything I should change? ---Dark Ace SP (Talk) 00:40, July 6, 2012 (UTC)
Don't think so, It looks good.--LaggiaWill Lag You(Talk) 00:50, July 6, 2012 (UTC)
Cool, I'll start testing after I finish my games with Photon Drain (Although Photon Drain kinda trolls decks with Skill Drain and Thunder King Rai-Oh + Plus 2000 ATK Beatsticks...). ---Dark Ace SP (Talk) 04:00, July 6, 2012 (UTC)
You could try running magical demission or copy cats for fun
Or Night End Sorcerer for extra banish power and syncro power
Not running Copy Cat, I'm not going to run End, because he'll serve no real purpose, and as for Magical Dimension, it's a -1 overall, unless the opponent uses something like Gemini Spark. I'd rather not take a -1, even if I can break even with High Priestess of Prophecy, because I won't always have her in hand. ---Dark Ace SP (Talk) 23:18, July 7, 2012 (UTC)
Are you kidding me? Kycoo is better at defeating Chaos Dragons, Inzektors. And all sort of decks.--LaggiaWill Lag You(Talk) 16:38, July 8, 2012 (UTC)
Nex is right, Kycoo give another flare of Anti-meta style playing to the deck. You guys should know that I will probably start testing this later this afternoon. ---Dark Ace SP (Talk) 17:40, July 8, 2012 (UTC)
