Hey people, creating a malefic deck since the promotional 3D pack came out. So I looked about the sites for malefic deck but no one really made a purely malefic(just the ones i saw). So see if it is ok or risky or need further improvements.

Malefic Deck

ok the i find that adding 1 imperial custom would just prevent my skill drain to die too fast. also i was thinking of adding POA but looking at it i dont know what to remove as u should know that burial from a different dimension only bring from remove from play to grave. I dont want 41 cards as it lowers my chance to get skill drain or malefic world to my hands. Although quite scared to run this deck as only having 1 malefic on the field at a turn. So i was thinking of removing 1 each of the blue eyes, red eyes and rainbow dragon and then having other creatures along with this deck.

try using cards like beast king barbaros and fusilier dragon the dual-mode beast. if skill drain is active when they're summoned, u can normal summon them with no tributes, but they lose no atk or def points.

Thx for that. Never thought of it but i edited it alot and was trying to find for a alternative way in case my skill drain or malefic world is gone so i decided to use the gear town and ancient gear gadjiltron dragon cards as u can see in the edit. Since i have another back up i was thinking of adding D. Prison other than imperial custom. So since u suggest King Barbaros which should i go with King Barbaros and fusilier dragon or Ancient Gear? Also seems like malefic is all special summmon i m also looking out for normal summons which u just brought out. Or add both ideas by removing 1 magical mallet and card trader.

pure malefic? here:

Forget rainbow, you should rather add more cyber end. Then you don't happen to have a dead rainbow dragon in hand ;)

Also forget red eyes. There is no difference to blue eyes other than the attack and the latter is much better and also compatible with Trade-In. -dest- (talkcontribs) 11:33, February 24, 2011 (UTC)

Oh really? ok shall try ermss let me edit my deck a little more. so get rid of red eyes and rainbow and add in more cyber end... ok...but apparently in this deck as u can see i m trying not to get a dead draw as from card trader and lighten the load. So a dead rainbow is rather low. Ok so here it is so far from the edit. Well I think it will be hard for me to look for cyber end dragons yea so i shall just add the 1 red eyes set for the mean time.

Now i testing out the deck and it seems really slow. Cause u know u can only have 1 malefic on the field and i keep adding malefic to my hand. So is it suppose to be like that? Because my opponent could just clear 1 creature and then just direct me... Any advice or anything?

perhaps more truth dragon. If they get rid of your malefic just pay half of your life to summon him ;)

as for cases which rfp/bounce rather then destroy, you could try mirror force/dprison to stall for a short time. btw, you don't have to use malefic worlds effect, if you still have enough malefics in your hand just draw normally. -dest- (talkcontribs) 16:43, February 24, 2011 (UTC)

well i added foolish burial in my deck now to send truth dragon in to the grave easily. So should that be ok or i add 2 truth? Oh and ya i will try not to keep using malefic world effect. And i m adding sakuretsu as mostly stardust can negate it but it cant attack as he would most probably get destroyed by my malefics attack. Maybe i will look out for mirror force to add in.

malefic deck

Hey I'm also building a Malefic deck so would also advise more Malefic Truth Dragon because when your opponent swings at your Malefic monsters you could just activate something to destroy your own cards like destruct potion to gain life points then activate Truth Dragon's effect to special summon him.

oh ok. then add 2? 2 is enough right?

other malefic recommended cards like :(terraforming x3 , field barrier x2 )

2 copies is enough, although if u have 3 copies in ur graveyard/hand at the same time u can special summon all 3 in one turn. although that will be a big decrease to ur life point...

take out the rainbow dragons and replace them with montage dragons instead. other than that it looks good

Malefic Disaster

my malefic deck is a disaster dragon malefic spin, think about it Future Fusion on F.G.D using 2x Wyv, 2x REDM and 1 Mal Truth special summon any mal you want that turn then endphase bring back both REDM, try and set skill drain, next turn, summon what you can, activate skill drain, if you had Red Eyes Malefic, 2x REDM, that's 8000, say they destroy Red Mal, summon truth from grave this is basically a Disaster Drag set up and Disaster is proven to work. also, keep red eyes and mix in Flamvelle Guard, lvl 1 tuner, 2000 defence, sych for something useful Also, if you're suffering from being limited to 1 attack per turn when Skill Drain isn't on the field, use Dragons Rage for piercing damage Just some ideas i am doing

Note, new deck i am running because i had the temporary cards spare, Lightsworn Malefics, has very few malefics in but due to the LS Field Spell it works okay so far

Please refer credit to Drako398

I'd probably say a good malefic deck should contain other field spells that would boost your monsters, such as mountain and mystic plasma zone. Also contain cards that support the non-malefic versions of cards like red b. chick and red eyes darkness dragon. Also adding malefic monsters into other decks can help too, such as adding malefic rainbow to a crystal beast deck.

Um, to Drako398, and the guy below him, I wouldn't use Malefic Red-Eyes at all, he's only worth it if you already have 3 copies each of Malefic Blue-Eyes, Rainbow Dragon, Cyber end Dragon, and Stardust Dragon, and after that thats enough monsters. Plus to Drako398, you can't synchro for Red Nova like that, because Malefic Parallel Gear says if he's used for a synchro summon, the other synchro material monster is ONE malefic monster in your hand, you can't synchro with guys on the field. A HUGE THREAT TO ALL MALEFIC DECKS: IMPERIAL IRON WALL. I suggest you use cards that can negate this, example Royal Decree.

ok now i am getting a little annoyed coz my friends are using imperial iron wall. Also i found out giant trunade cleared my entie field so how do i past this 2 problems. I was thinking of adding roayal decree ya but what about skill drain? Coz i just bought a book of moon and found out that by casting book of moon on your own malefic summon another malefic then nxt turn flip it back face up normally with skill drain on. ok so what should i do now oh and let me update my deck list... I was thinking of royal decree but someone just help me D:

just add more counter trap to ur deck like Dark Bribe to prevent ur opponent from activating cards like Giant Trunade. if u plan on using Skill Drain than it's prabably best if u dont use Royal Decree. also u should definitely have other lower level monsters in ur deck due to morphing jar #2

I'm not sure whether or not it's a good idea, but if anything, I wouldn't go for Malefic Paradox. Malefic Cyber End Dragon and Malefic Rainbow Dragon are almost as good-and a lot easier to summon. Malefic Paradox Dragon requires Malefic Blue-Eyes or Malefic Stardust + Malefic Gear-I would just use Stardust in it's normal form for protection and Malefic Blue-Eyes just isn't that good compared to Rainbow and Cyber End.BobaFett2 (talk) 18:14, March 1, 2011 (UTC)

Hey I'm wondering. If you have a Malefic monster (Stardust Dragon, Rainbow Dragon, etc) and skill drain, can you summon Malefic Parallel Gear and another Level 8 Monster to Synchro Summon Malefic Paradox Dragon?

You can't use the effect of Parallel Gear if you have Skill Drain, if that's your question.BobaFett2 (talk)

I meant that since it's a tuner, can't you Synchro Summon Malefic Paradox if there's a Malefic Monster and a Skill Drain on the field?

You can Synchro Summon it if you have the Malefics on the field.{{SUBST:nosubst|User:BobaFett2/sig2}}

weakness of malefic

besides all this how come no 1 mentioned morphing jar #2? a deck full of malefic monster is so easy to beat when ur opponent has morphing jar #2 that will just empty ur entire deck

Because no one runs it enough to worry about it. Jon Kovacs (talkcontribs) 23:57, March 6, 2011 (UTC)

ehh... i always have morphing jar #2 in my side deck just in case...

And your point is... Jon Kovacs (talkcontribs) 21:39, March 7, 2011 (UTC)

Whatever but melafic decks are really easy to beat with dust tornado or mystic space typhoon that destroys skill drain or Sin world. Also if your opponent also uses a field spell paradox is going to die....... and Ancient Fairy Dragon can be a killer too. BUT THE best card towards melafic is giant turnade. One of this and ur skill drain and sin world along with your other cards go back to your hand...... resulting all the melafics on your field to self-destruct. If you are going to reactivate skill drain later it costs more of your life points. And some other weaknesses are like drawing rainbow dragon, blue eyes, or red eyes if you are going to use them Christopherlin12 (talkcontribs)

Well, most Malefic decks in my area (ie: mine), main 2-3 Dark Bribe due to the decks main weakness being spells rather than traps, even if they get a draw off it, they still can't use Giant Trunade or even a similar card to it again, and Mystical Space Typhoon can't destroy both Skill Drain & Field Spell Card by itself,-Resk (Talk) 11:52, April 12, 2011 (UTC)

Possibility of swarming Malefics

I saw a card called Tyrant's Tirade, by tributing 2 monsters it negates the effects of monsters on the field or your hand. So is it possible to use this card to negate your hand so that you can swarm the Malefic monsters? I saw the tips for this card and theres a tip that says it works well for monsters with continuous effects, that would include the summoning conditions as continuous right?

It doesn't negate Malefic monster's effects at all, it just says their effects can't be activated. Summoning conditions aren't an effect being activated. The reason that tip is there is because continuous effects of monsters are unaffected by it. Continuous effects are not the same as summoning conditions, but in this case they'd both not be negated. SuperKirbyFan (talkcontribs) 15:37, April 9, 2011 (UTC)

Well it is possible to play more then one malefic by setting them face down with cards like book of moon and book of eclipse, I think thats the only way to do it.

So what about the Malefic rulings? I saw a ruling that said if you use skill drain to negate the effect of only having one malefic in play, you cannot play a copy of the malefic already in play, what the hell does that even mean anyway? If you cant control more then one malefic monster even with skill drain, why the hell would they say you just cant play a double? You know like "1 Malefic blue eyes white dragon" on the field, you cannot play another malefic blue eyes white dragon.
What the ruling means is this. If I have Skill Drain active, and Malefic Cyber End Dragon, I cannot summon Malefic Stardust Dragon from my hand due to the Malefic Stardust Dragon's condition that I cannot control multiple Malefic monsters. The only way around that is to normal summon Malefic Parallel Gear while the Cyber End Dragon is on the field, or to use Book of Moon on an in play Malefic monster. I have no idea why whatever ruling you are referring to specifically refers to a double of a particular monster. That is not pertainent to the effects of the cards. Jon Kovacs (talkcontribs) 20:13, April 10, 2011 (UTC)

They mentioned the following cards twice which was the part thats misleading about the Malefics. But the book of moon and book of eclipse does work doesnt it?

Sign your posts with the for ~'s please. And Book of Moon will work, however, Book of Eclipse will never effect your own monsters, and therefore is useless to try and use in order to summon multiple Malefic monsters. If you want to have multiple Malefic monsters on the field, I recommend activating Skill Drain with one already summoned, normal summon Malefic Parallel Gear, and use non-malefic monsters on the field to tune for Paradox Dragon. Jon Kovacs (talkcontribs) 19:58, April 12, 2011 (UTC)
Book of Eclipse flips 'all' monsters face down,-Resk (Talk) 21:41, April 12, 2011 (UTC)

Just don't use Blue-Eyes and Rainbow Dragon. Cyber End Dragon and Stardust Dragon are the best Malefics. You can use Parallel Gear and Stardust to summon Malefic Paradox, but I wouldn't suggest it. A lot of decks would just play their Field Spell and yours would have no protection, whereas Cyber End is just as strong with barely any setbacks-and you don't need a specific Field Spell so if your opponent uses one your Cyber End remains on the field.BobaFett2 (talk)

I missed the wording of Book of Eclipse, sorry about that. Jon Kovacs (talkcontribs) 22:42, April 12, 2011 (UTC)

What happened to the fusion cyber end dragons needed to summon their malefic version?
