Why would Dark Strike Fighter be on the forbidden list? It's pretty pointless.—This unsigned comment was made by 24.4.100.200 (talkcontribs)

I don't see how you could miss the Stickied Thread: Forum:List of Reasons for why cards are Currently Banned.

For a more elaborate reason, you should know that Blackwings are very good at Synchroing for LV7. It's not only for Blackwing Armor Master though. Since Dark Strike Fighter has no Synchro restrictions they can Synchro a number of monsters, beat the opponent's face in, and if they're still not dead, sacrifice off all the monsters to mop them up with the burn effect. It gets worse when the Cat Synchro had access to them, since they could easily pull out 2 Dark Strike Fighters, each one attacking and sacrificing itself for 4000 damage each (2600 + 200*7). This should demonstrate why the banning isn't "pointless" at all. --Gadjiltron (talkcontribs) 02:00, October 24, 2010 (UTC)

As combine show here; You would need two of each in order to get the overkill OTK - Rescue Cat, X-Saber Airbellum, Summoner Monk, Cold Wave (good for s/t block), and finally Dark Strike Fighter. Activate Cold Wave, summon "Summoner Monk" then discard any spell card you have in hand to summon second "Summoner Monk". You discard second random spell card to summon Rescue Cat itself (from the deck, not hand) and tribute the cat to summon two Airbellum. Synchro Summon two Dark Strike Fighters by tuning Airbellum into Summoner Monk twice. And the story is where Gadjiltron explaining to you already. Oh yes, Lightning Vortex is an opinion card, only work if you need to get rid of the laughing defense monster first. You can also included "n00b of crossout" to get rid of Man-Eater Vindictive Jar Whatever you could see on the field. --FredCat Ta.P.F.P.J.R.W.S.Th.P. 02:09, October 24, 2010 (UTC)
